    The Israel Folau saga

Israel would need to play in 5 7s tournaments for Tonga prior to the Olympic Games, and then I think play at the Olympics, to play for Tona. But would first need to stand down for 3 years as well, I think...

    Rebels 2019

Appallingly treated in Melbourne, made to play on with a broken back. At his best, a very good Super Rugby player

    Brumbies 2019

What 'treatment' has Hawera received? He's not in your best 23 at present, simple. And if any inside back at the Brums could feel stiff for not getting more game time, surely it would be JJH

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Yuck. Really need to look at double-headers with the Brisbane Roar next year so we can get 5 figures

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

I reckon the Wolves are a sneaky chance this weekend, Brown will know a lot of the Highlanders guys well and having two weeks in a row in Tokyo is a rare chance for continuity for them. The tip I really can't decide on is the game in Cape Town

    Brumbies 2019

    Nathan Charles?

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

    Fascinated by RWV at centre!!!

    Shute Shield 2019

Rugby News are absolutely dreaming if they think I am paying for Shute Shield team lists and Greg Dowden's 'goss'

    The Israel Folau saga

Not having a go mate. Just explaining that it isn't the Code of Conduct under which Israel's case will be heard.

    The Israel Folau saga

This isn't the Professional Players Code of Conduct - that is a separate document, not public-facing
  11. RebelYell

    Rebels 2019

They kept that quiet - what happened to all players featuring in Melbourne? According to this, he is allocated to Footscray?

    RD 8: Rebels v Sunwolves - Sat 6th @7:45pm

He almost signed for the Rebels last year, but has completed his residency now and is likely to play at the RWC for Japan

    NRC onwards and upwards

Agree with this. Also allows for guaranteed prime time fixtures when other football codes haven't started yet

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Question to ponder - with South Africa opening their doors for all overseas based players to be Test eligible, and earning capability greater for SA players in Aus than at home, would we be open to allowing each team the right to sign a couple of capped Springboks?

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Agree, this is it for mine. Dempsey and Hanigan probably round out the squad (though if it were me I would still have Higginbotham as a wildcard). And then you can run with Rodda, Arnold, Simmons + Coleman as your locks. Yes, you can make a legitimate case for any of McCaffrey, Timu, Cottrell...

    Reds 2019

Plenty of players have issues with the scrum coach/physio.

    Round 7: Reds v Rebels - Saturday 30 March @ Suncorp

Have said this many times before, and will say it again... Every team in Super Rugby in Australia exaggerates their crowds. And in the A-League, and the NRL, and any other team in any other competition in the world who wants to disguise how poor their crowd is. It is common, accepted practice.

Western Force v South China Tigers - HBF Park - 29 March 2019

Thanks for sharing this - haven't seen the packaged highlights being posted by Force on social media or even on Rugby.com.au

    Proposed Nations Championship

SANZAAR has no obligation to include Fiji in TRC and I extremely doubt that they will. Not enough $ in it for them, watch for USA to come back into the fold.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Sure, and I take your point, that initially there isn't the same money/broadcast revenue for a Trans-Tasman comp. Just like initially there wasn't the same money/broadcast revenue as there is now for the Big Bash League. You need to take the risk, understand you'll lose a lot of players...
