RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

The attack in this game is horrible. It as close to league as you can get except you don't get to the 5th tackle. 3 or 4 hit-ups and kick.

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

If you were to pick an Australasian team, who would it be?

RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

Really? Last game against ARG: Tied for most number of defensive rucks involved in at 7 100% of those times he was early and 71% of the time he had 'impact'. Going by those stats - best AB on the park. 2nd Bledisloe this year: far and away the No.1 player involved in defensive rucks...

RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

I forget which poster here does the breakdown analysis for Wallaby games and few others but almost every AB game he does, McCaw is one of the best - if not the best - player on the pitch at the breakdown. It's unbelievable the level which he is still playing at.

    Fixed that for you. :)

RWC: JAP v SAM (Milton Keynes): POOL B

This possibly the WORST suspension in the history of rugby. 5 weeks for being a strong runner.....FFS what is the game coming to!! Jonah would have got a life ban for what he did to Mike Catt if these idiots were in charge back in1995

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I thought at the time that he was very very lucky not to get a yellow. I'm not surprised it got cited especially given the yellow given to Farrell later in the game....

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Pocock is an absolute beast and nothing short of a game changer. Any team playing the Wallbies have to plan and adjust for him so drastically it must be hell to prepare for. The man is just a beast.

World Rugby to introduce law trials

One of the only laws I have issue with at the moment is this one. We are seeing more and more players getting tackled then getting up immediately and continuing with their run under this 'I wasn't held' idea. If the rules are that the tackler must release immediately, of course you weren't...

RWC: ENG v Fiji (Twickenham) Pool A

Didn't get to see the game but from what I've read, this was pretty prophetic :)

    The League Media

The ease with which Hayne was caught will be a little bit of a concern but even though it was a great hole made by the line - and the lead blocker did a great job with 2 blocks right at the line - it's still encouraging to see how well he's adapted in even finding and seeing that seam. His left...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Errrr - yes, it was only the 'dudes on the internet' who considered him to be the best. No name 'dudes' like Justin Marshall - what the fuck would he know about Test rugby? So last week Phipps was apparently piss-poor and White was hardly a huge improvement from what I watched anyway. Would...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I'd go Pocock to 6, Hooper to 7 and McCalman to 8 but I don't remember any Tests with Fardy at lock and Cyclopath reckons set-piece was shit so I guess that's not good. And I didn't get to watch any Blues games this year let alone and Reds ones so again, I'll have to take everyone else's word...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I thought Slipper was pretty good both sides? Ah well - Kepu to start then. Does Horwill or Skelton really offer that much more than Fardy does at lock? I think he's tougher than both of those blokes and is definitely works harder than Skelton. Most posters here seem to think that Foley hasn't...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Agree. I was one of the firstvguys on here who touted Pocock and Hooper playing together because they just have such different games even though they bith usually wear 7. Pocock is your Michael Jordan and Hooper is your Scottie Pippen. Jordan made Pippen a better player and having Jordan on the...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

One name - Pocock. I don't think there was a Wallaby turn-over until the 2nd half. Pocock came on and bagged one. There is just no way any Wallaby team should be starting without him if he's fit - it's that simple. He is a game changer and the guy in your forward pack who no other Test team...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Has George Smith ever rated by any other 'franchise nation' other than the Brumbies? Latham - Restalia? Pocock? I think you make too much of the parochialism - most good players are well regarded here no matter where they come from. Well, from what I've seen anyway.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

You guys actually don't rate him against either NZ or SA. A couple of years ago I wen back and looked thru all the GAGR rating for the last 3 or 4 years or something and against those 2 team, you guys here on GAGR had rated him around pretty averagely - there may have been 1 or 2 games where...

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

You're mad if u think Speight would walk into the ABs. Speight has like 4 or 5 yrs on Moala.....and he's dine nothing in his limited international chances so far
