RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Get over what? Charge downs and intercepts are part of what is called 'defence' which is part of playing rugby. Both were well done in Wallaby territory. "Against the play' means the play was going one way eg. Wallabies on hot attack or close to scoring a try themselves when the try was scored...

You're taking the piss right?! You think the whinging about the ref is a shame?!? YOU?!? There is hardly a Wallaby/Force loss that doesn't see you complaining about the ref. There was nothing 'lucky' or 'against the play' in any of the Scots tries but plenty of 'rub of the green' coming from...

They were manufactured by defensive pressure which is just as important and relevant as attacking pressure = NOT against the run of play.

But that's how a lot of tries are scored in rugby. And a lot, if not most, errors are avoidable. I think all 3 tries were from Scotland putting pressure on Australia in the Wallaby half or 22. That is part of the 'play' so the tries were not against the run of play in any way at all. And I do...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I don't understand this idea of Scotland's tries being scored 'against the run of play'?! The defence puts pressure on and the attack falters, makes a mistake and the opposition scores a try. I don't think that in any of Scotland's tries, the Wallabies were on red hot attack and close to...

That almost-try-saver was bloody impressive I thought.

I don't think Folau is as irreplaceable as many think. Beale played very well tonite I thought. The Pocock situation for the Wallabies ATM reminds me of the McCaw situation a number of years back. It's not that the back-ups were terrible - guys like Marty Holah probably would have walked into...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I know it's not a really popular comment here but Pocock is the ONE guy in the Wallabies that every other team in the world is genuinely scared of. He is almost the MOTM in every damn game he plays and I wish his parents had moved to NZ instead of Aus...LOL

No way Hooper was bound the whole time there - Aussie definitely getting the rub of the green from the ref here.

This deliberate knock-on BS is shit - that YC is just shit. If you don't actually intercept the ball, you're fucked, it's not worth trying.

Australian defence needs to stop Scotland from making metres after the initial contact.

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

Haha - cool story bro. I like Fardy but he has a loooooong way to go before being at a Kaino-esque level. He would be lucky to be in the AB squad at all right now. I get the distinct feeling that being able to 'niggle the fuck out of anyone' is not high on the list of AB required skills.

RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

When you are coming in that hard and fast and driving attacking players back, there are times you will end up on on the wrong side. I've actually noticed the ABs working hard to get out of the way. And French players making no effort to enter rucks correctly and coming straight in from the side.

RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

The ABs are showing more ferocity and aggression in their tackles. Look at their line speed and just how eager every AB seems to be to make tackles and punish the French ball carriers.
