I'm not a Foley fan (don't hate him mind), but you've got to consider context. Foley was average against a dominant Bok pack at altitude. CLL was a bit better at home against a non dominant Argie pack. Apples and oranges.

I'm a DHP fan, but if he's on the wing I'd take a JOC (James O'Connor) circa early 10s any day of the week over DHP. Especially with the KK midfield.

I think if GRR ever wants to supplant Super Rugby, you'd need FTA coverage. In the current market that would probably mean wealthy private backers until a competition is established. GRR is fortunate in that it has not nearly as much to lose as Super Rugby.

The unfortunate thing about rugby is it brings out the whinge in us. RSA are whinging about double standards with foul play. NZ whinge about the conference system (where they have the least travel!). We whinge about all sorts, but mostly RA or referees.
