Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Cracking rant DP. Gold medal stuff. Love your work :)

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

I reckon we might just still have won if that red was a yellow. We were up by two tries @ 50 mins when Barrett would've been back. Reckon some of NZ's tries would've been less likely as we'd have played a tighter game without a man advantage. I guess we'll never know. Bloody excellent to get a...

When we say that people call sour grapes ;)

Normally I'd say that red was a joke. But ABs clearly targeting Hooper and I reckon ref knows it.

That's nothing new. There is a guy over there who is always revolting.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I'd say the problem with Pooper was the lack of a good 6. Our line-out functioned well enough when we had Fardy in the last RWC, but otherwise you need a big ball runner. Pooper doesn't work with McMahon, Dempsey or Hanigan. It looked like it could have worked with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) at the beginning of last...

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

I'd like to see JOC (James O'Connor) in for Hodge against the ABs and someone else at 6. Maybe Valetini

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

I'm not a Foley fan (don't hate him mind), but you've got to consider context. Foley was average against a dominant Bok pack at altitude. CLL was a bit better at home against a non dominant Argie pack. Apples and oranges.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I'm a DHP fan, but if he's on the wing I'd take a JOC (James O'Connor) circa early 10s any day of the week over DHP. Especially with the KK midfield.

    Global Rapid Rugby

I think if GRR ever wants to supplant Super Rugby, you'd need FTA coverage. In the current market that would probably mean wealthy private backers until a competition is established. GRR is fortunate in that it has not nearly as much to lose as Super Rugby.

Where do you actually think that $2.2 million has come from, Kenny? I'd wager a testicle that very little of it comes from "average Joe's".

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Don't know if its already been said and can't be bothered to look back, is anyone else glad we get a chance to see a non-Pooper line up? Would love to see LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) or Jones at 6 and Naisarani at 8. I'm no fan of Foley, but you can't say he didn't rise for the last RWC.

Semi Final - Brumbies vs Jaguares, Sat 29 June, 9:05 am (AEST)

The unfortunate thing about rugby is it brings out the whinge in us. RSA are whinging about double standards with foul play. NZ whinge about the conference system (where they have the least travel!). We whinge about all sorts, but mostly RA or referees.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Vs Argentina: Made 6, missed 1. (86%) Vs English: Made 4, missed 1. (80%) Vs Ireland: Made 7, missed 3. (70%) Vs Italy: Made 5, missed 1. (83%) And for the final.... Made 3, missed 4. (43%) We were almost half our average and any one of those four kicks could have been a winner. I don't know...

Up until that game I think our kicking had been in the 80% ball park.

    Waratahs 2020

Who did that? I'd love to believe JOC (James O'Connor) was reformed and could value add to an Super Rugby team, but I just don't think it's worth the risk.

    World Rugby U20 Championship 2019

Bugger hey. Still, fantastic we made it this far after close to a decade. It's a shame that our kicking had been pretty reliable up until this point. Unless they change the tournament, we'll be pooled with Ireland and England again. France with Wales and NZ. South Africa with Argentina.

    The Israel Folau saga

I think you miss my point. He participated in the Bingham Cup without public comment. It would appear he put rugby ahead of religion back then. He now puts religion ahead of rugby. In my eyes at least, that is a change in belief system.

    The Israel Folau saga

I don't accept a). You are saying his belief system would not change. Folau promoted the Bingham Cup back in 2014. Surely if his belief system was the same then as it is now, this is not something he would have done. It's unlikely that he would change his belief from being Christian, but how he...
