    Springbok Rugby Championship squad

This Goosen bloke gets talked up way too much for someone whose barley played a full season of Super Rugby (for a struggling team).

Why bring Bakkies back? Alberts seems to play lock well, he can cover.

Choosing a ITM team to follow

I don't mind Hawke's Bay aswell. They have a pretty strong squad, alot of Samoans and All Blacks. If their team is anything like last year they should be pretty strong

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

When I think about rep players turning out for their clubs I think more Reds fringe players, Academy and 7's players.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Andrew Walker was a god when he played for Easts. Even at 37(?) he was unstoppable. And I have no issue with the representation of Rep players right now. If you develop them you should keep them.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Don't know if he is good enough for a Reds spot given we have some quality wing/fullbacks. But he is definatly the best Premier fullback by a mile. He could easily get a gig for the Force or Melbourne.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Everyone on this site is one-eyed, some just voice it more then others. No issues either way here gents.

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

Yes I am sure his form from 10 months ago is still affecting him..... Rubbish comment. Sick of the pessimists, we are ranked in the top 3 for a reason.

    Reds 2013

Great news. Little suprised Rocket re-signed, he would know he is on the outer when it comes to wing spots (Shipperely, Ioane, Sautia, Morahan). He could of easily gone elsewhere and started (in Melbourne or Perth he'd be a certain starter). But good on him for staying, unfinished business I'd say.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

His ball playing and general skills has improved vastly. The try he scored against Sunnybank showed his new ball running agility. His passing interplay in the forwards has also improved, which is vital as Easts game plan in centered around this strategy. I would think Richards has contributed...

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

McCalman is still injured I'm pretty sure. That unfourtunately looks about right. I say unfourtunately because Cooper in the bench would be a disgrace. We cannot beat the AB's without him, we need that creative spark.

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 South Africa vs Argentina - 18 August

This will be a kick-a-thon. Will come down to whoever is dominating up front.

If Quade is not picked at 10 Deans should be sacked immediatly and banned from entering this country again.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Just on Wests, they really have the nucleus to build a strong team over the next few seasons. I liked the looks of quite a few of their players. I agree with that persepective on their locks. They'd be the second best behind Stollberg and Enenver.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

I see where you are coming from, and just for the record wasn't putting down Enever, was just making a general comparison. In my view his ball running 2/3 man from the ruck has improved vastly this season. I feel he is at that right point to be picked up on an EPS somewhere (not necessarily the...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

I disagree completely with this. I used to be a massive critic of Stollberg (as I have posted about before), but this bloke has turned into the best lock in Premier Rugby this season. I really don't think you've been watching him enough lately to suggest he doesn't have anything else but size.

    Springbok Rugby Championship squad

Who'll start out of Bekker, Etzebeth and Kruger? The former two?
  20. tigerland12

Who would you bring into the Wallabies?

Sergio Parisse (or someone like Gorgodze, Harinordoquy). Conrad Smith would fix most of our backline selection issues. Martin Castrogiovanni as a tighthead.
