    Sydney Subbies 2014

I've heard some whispers of Division 4 being reinstated in 2014, also Sydney Irish have apparently got a "well known" Irish international and 4 times Lions tourist coming to beef up the first grade's midfield in June after his impending retirement from professional rugby. *one of the above...

    Waratahs 2014

NZ born 24 year old TH prop, used to play with Toulouse and Agen in the Top 14. Safe to say he is fillings one of the two remaining front row spots?

    2013 EOYT

Gives Australia a huge advantage, although his influence has been severely limited from his Lions peak this season due to the new scrum laws

    IRB Annual Awards 2013

Given that the 6 Nations was so poor in quality, and that the Lions series was won in the front row counts Halfpenny out as a winner for me. He should get a nomination but should be behind Ben Smith, de Villiers and Read.

    IRB Annual Awards 2013

Player: Kieren Read Coach: Steve Hansen Team: Irish and British Lions Referee: Nigel Owens Try: Folaus second try in the first Lions test

    Rugby Jerseys and Merch Deals

Ireland are going back to Canterbury from November 2014

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Racing Metro also beat Clermont overnight, 13-9 was the final score. Decent result for both teams I imagine Clermont will be content with a bonus point. Cardiff really are an enigma, on paper they have a lot of decent players but it seems as soon as they get called up for Wales they start look...

Maximising the opportunity of Rugby 7s in Australia

I agree, the suits have made the decision that they'd rather young talent be in the provincial academies and play AIL (Shute Shield level) than have the most talented play 7s.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

And while we are at it we should reduce the pack by 2 players so there is more space on the field. The scrum is an integral part of our game, teams with strong scrums shouldn't be penalised by not getting a scoreboard advantage from their superiority

Maximising the opportunity of Rugby 7s in Australia

The IRFU simply don't want to pay for a professional 7s set up, with limited cash available they've opted to invest in their provincial set ups as opposed to 7s.

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Superb performances Leinster by Cronin, SOB and Heaslip. Encouraging Heineken debut by Moore and Macken, hoping both get another run out next week. Leinsters breakdown work is just manic, if Plumtree and Schmidt can get Ireland playing in that matter we'll be in a good position for an assault on...

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Great win for Leinster, bloody Foxtel recording didn't work so going to have to wait till the replay later on before I can comment anymore. Disasterous result for Munster, Edinburgh would have been targetted for a banker of 9 points. They are going to have to win the remainder of their games...

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Good win for Ulster overnight but I've heard that they were camped in the Leicester 22 for long periods but their attack looked predictabel and handling let them down on occasions, giving away a bonus point puts the pressure on them next week. On a side note, Paddy Jackson finally kicked well...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

That Sonny-Bill Williams character would have made a decent utility back option on the BNZ bench, sadly he has decided that counting to 5 is his limit for another year

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Main challengers by country IMO: France: Clermont, Toulon, Toulouse These are the 3 teams that usually present Frances best challenge, Toulouse hold the record for the most tournament wins but have slipped to some pretty embarrassing losses in the past couple of seasons. Their coach Guy...

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

I agree that it will be a tough game for Ulster, but I think home advantage and more impact from their should see them home and if they finish strongly I can see them getting more than 7 ahead of the Tigers. The performances of Small Paul and Ben Youngs will be interesting both are known for...

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Brendan Macken is making his Heineken Cup debut at 13 on Saturday, really looking forward to seeing how he goes I'm a massive fan and have high hopes for him. The squad has yet to be confirmed but Heaslip let it slip in the press conference yesterday...

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Finally a team showing some common sense with potential brain injuries! Always nice to see an Irish tighthead prop start in the Heineken Cup, God knows we need some quality cover there

Time to revamp cards to Yellow, Orange, Red ?

I thought the Argentine half back should have gotten a red card for his stamping on AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) after the whistle. That was probably the only negative in Barnes' referring performance over the weekend

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Anyone want to put their necks on the line? I reckon the 1/4 finalists will be Munster, Toulon, London South Africa, Leinster, Clermont, Ulster, Toulon, Gloucester
