Crusaders v Force - 5:35pm AEDT 24th March at AMI Stadium, Christchurch

I don't believe it was cynical but do think it warranted yellow. Whoever the force player was bent down a bit to pick it up but after it bounced thought better of it and soccered it on. From being directly behind him and only having a second to make the decision I don't feel the crusader...

Crusaders v Force - 5:35pm AEDT 24th March at AMI Stadium, Christchurch

So one guy can't cause the collapse of a scrum on his own? Huh didn't know that.......

Crusaders v Force - 5:35pm AEDT 24th March at AMI Stadium, Christchurch

Like I said, at some point I'm sure Ainsley saw him coming and that hands on the ball to pass became some sort of downward pressure. If the ref had called grounded 5m scrum I very much doubt anyone would've batted much of an eyelid at that decision.

Good to see you can find the humour in a potential season ending injury........

Crusaders half knocked on trying to get it out of the scrum! Completely missed by the ref!

Really? I just saw it as the force prop losing his footing on engagement. Maybe would have got a reset if all the other shit hadn't happened before

Crusaders v Force - 5:35pm AEDT 24th March at AMI Stadium, Christchurch

I think the first force player actually momentarily grounded the ball, then when the ref didn't call it he proceeded to roll it back for someone else to clear. I'm also sure at some stage Ainsley saw Romano coming and that hands on the ball ready to pass it become downwards pressure. Very hard...

You know it's a bad call when kiwi commentators say you're hard done by

That was an outrageous call on the Romano try.

Round 4: Rebels v Chiefs, Fri 17th March @7:45pm - AAMI Park Melbourne

Looks like a semi decent crowd on tv, not as good as the storm yesterday though

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The reality of the situation is that a lot of the problems from super rugby are a direct result of South Africa and the SARU, South Africa are always the ones to kick up a fuss, the sport is run by political agendas, you have more teams than can manage, style of play is (generally) boring, while...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

But at the same time you want more games against kiwis, less local derbies but can't hack the travel. Go figure how that's gonna work

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yea I get all the reasoning behind it but I feel like 1) it's NZ they could play anybody and still be top of their game and conditioned well 2) surely at some point their (NZ) product will suffer domestically by having more games at shit hours against players they don't relate to as well...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

From a kiwi point of view, do fans really want more games against South Africa or is that just the administration wanting it that way?? I don't know too many kiwis going "fuck yea lets get up at 2-3am to watch a game" or too many kiwis that are really know South African playing rosters like...

Round 3: Sharks v Waratahs - Sunday 12 March 4:30am AEDT, Kings Park, Durban

You play on, see if they score off the break then if they do THEN you review it. The same as any normal non South African ref would

Round 3: Sharks v Waratahs - Sunday 12 March 4:30am AEDT, Kings Park, Durban

Phibbs two runs from the ruck, got smashed both times. Then threw a bullet pass to a guy 3m away from him, tah drops the ball sharks with a run away try

Round 3: Sharks v Waratahs - Sunday 12 March 4:30am AEDT, Kings Park, Durban

10 mins gone phibbs has had 2 box kicks charged down, how can anyone justify his position in the team?? Thought it was also a harsh decision by the ref to call up play when he did for the Dempsey yellow. 100% a card but he obviously didn't see the incident himself as he called it way too late...

I thought his right arm wrapped around sufficiently, kinda hard when your opponent drops like a sack of potatoes
