Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

    A ton. Bit embarrassing really

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

It’s a shame NZ doesn’t have any big, dynamic ball carrying number 8s in the country that could bend the English line

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

I agree with the need for more rugby, but who is paying for this and what's the plan to get people to actually care about these teams?

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

Not always. I don't think a coach openly telling everyone all the weaknesses of his players would do wonders for team morale

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

Who would you pick Smith ahead of? Williams fills the grafter role, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) the ball carrying role, and Blyth is obviously someone they want to develop due to his Size and good body height defensively for such a huge guy Being on the bench is not necessarily the next best player, it's about impact...

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

From Schmidt's press conference, seems Gleeson was the bench option due to the ability to bring him on anywhere in the backrow without needing to reshuffle, as opposed to Hooper or Wilson

Look, it’s not great what happened. But they are getting paid regardless, and have to relocate regardless, so I personally can’t understand the mindset of refusing to play super rugby and actually trying and be a net positive for Australian rugby and instead playing club rugby and not trying to...

They were signed and paid the money they were to play Super Rugby, and pretending they weren’t is disingenuous

Good for them. Would reveal their character and to be honest players with that attitude won’t be missed

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

Is it? Which team doesn't have a full time captain? Every good international team in modern history has had one captain

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

Which is fine, I just hope by the Rugby Championship he names a full time captain

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

    Because there isn’t

    Australian Rugby / RA

They cant be forced anywhere, that's the point of the whole issue. They have two options, take the money and add something to Australian rugby, or take the money and add nothing

Thinking they should play the level of rugby they are being paid to play is demanding a lot of them?
  17. Tomthumb

    Australian Rugby / RA

I know they are entitled to get paid, but the amount they are being paid was based on them playing Super Rugby

Disappointing for Liam, hopefully only a niggle

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think it’s very ethical to demand full super rugby money yet refuse to play it and instead just swan around in club rugby all year and then bugger off overseas
