    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Haven’t watched the game yet but seen the score. This team is elite if given the right opportunity and man for man not sure if there is a better team on talent. We just need to get the right rugby smarts through game experiences in these guys, that they have seen it all on the field by 26 so we...

Australia A - Back on the Cards

I thought JOC (James O'Connor) was okay. Nothing good and nothing bad
  3. Wallaby Man

Australia A - Back on the Cards

I’d go as far as saying he was our best but my word he’s a liability
  4. Wallaby Man

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Gordon, Foley, Campbell and Fainga'a will all be extremely lucky to play for wallabies again after that performance.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

If player scores out of 10 are given, Foley is around a 2/10 and Campbell maybe into the negatives. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Lambert heading towards 1-2 scores as well

    Wallabies 2023

Yes this guy knows more than Eddie Jones, Dave Rennie, Rob Baxter, Dan McKellar, Laurie Fisher and Stephen Larkham. Say hello to Campo for us

Perfect. Don’t need bye weeks either as would force teams to rotate

Another issue with a club based model, it’s not allowing our pro sides to build combinations or work on tactics for the coming year. If we have 150 guys on pro contracts in the country (it’s actually a little bit more), then if 40 of them get called up to the Wallabies squad. That leaves 110...

    Wallabies 2023

Back 3 only kicking 3 times is a big issue. Think that will change this week. I’d like to see Wright moved to the wing, he’s brilliant but just can’t help himself so against good teams can have brain farts and Kellaway to 15.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I see Hegarty has left the Force. He’d be a good pick up to return to the Rebels. Wouldn’t cost much. We need a back up 10 Could fill the Hodge utility void for 12 months until Mason Gordon improves a little more. We need a 15 back up. Good bench utility if playing 6/2

I just don’t think this could possibly work. It has good intentions, but it would destroy the club comps. All the good players would migrate to the perennial qualifiers for this comp, which would lead to thrashings during the season. It has the potential to not involve some players that should...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

My big prediction is Moana will not exist in 5yrs time. Unfortunately the team seems to be based on an ideology and not geography. I’d be surprised if Tana was the best coach available but wouldn’t surprise me if he was the best available under the checklist of things someone must be to qualify...

I spoke to Dave a number of times back when I was living in Melb and he’s always been very open about the challenges. The more games argument is the most important thing to solve in the next 12-24months. That goes for most levels of Aus rugby. We have players that are in their physical prime...

    Waratahs 2024

I think he’s at the point now where he needs to be playing every week, otherwise he’s going to quickly become a 24-25yr old with the in game experience that other countries hookers have by the age of 21 and learning lessons during the game that he shouldn’t be learning during his peak physical...

    Waratahs 2024

Suspect we might see him permanently with the 7s team

    Wallabies 2023

I think a lot comes down to rugby IQ. A large portion of our players don’t even watch the game recreationally they are more NRL fans, so don’t get the holistic view required at the highest level. Our juniors play some of the least amount of games in the world. Well the ones in the elite...

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

If they were not easy, then why bother making comment at all? Hodge is a very good kicker at Super Rugby level and Quade has just returned from an ACL. Quade wouldn’t have taken the 50m shots, so technically he missed out of trying to convert 1 conversion from the sideline.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Hodge didn’t have any real impact on the game and happy for him to make way outside the starting side but jeez you’d think he missed some easy kicks in front. He missed one from the sideline and 2 from 50m (one which was from 60m). Not sure who in the team is expected to provide better?

More as individuals they weren’t solely at fault but as a collective they were not impactful. Every player 5% off their counterpart which individually isn’t huge but as a collective that adds up to be a lot
