    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Mat Rogers always been a great interview. Some of his real life stories documented are extremely good viewing. He’s been through more in his 40 odd years than some people do in a lifetime. His interview on One Plus One (on ABC) is worth it for those wanting to watch something on him.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I have found myself laughing a lot, find it’s just like a night out with the boys talking shit. It’s great. There is a Matty Johns type show here if Stan or ch.9 wanted it.

    Wallabies 2023

This will be pretty close to the RWC squad. Someone needs to drop out for Hooper, which id think will be one of our no.6. Most likely Tom Hooper And someone needs to drop out for Ikitau. Which I’d say would be Vunivalu. Perese to cover 13 and wing Still think we will only take 2 scrum half’s...

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I’m biased but I think it’s clear Vic is 3rd on the production line. Not sure if there was a single player from ACT or WA in the wallabies team on the weekend. Can think of 1 from ACT in the wider squad (Lonergan) and 0 from WA. Happy to be quoted wrong but there is Samu, Valetini, Fa’amasuili...

Australia A - Back on the Cards

I’d support opening the eligibility up further by not locking players in for junior and A teams, however it would need to come at the expense of the ludicrous grandparent rule.

    Wallabies 2023

I think we will end up with Eddie only taking 2 half backs. And against Portugal we will end up with some Frankenstein experiment where either someone like McReight or Hodge will act as the 9 cover as McDermott plays a whole match to give White a rest

    Rugby 7s general chat

Love this move. I understand they sell to governments on multi year deals but the event would be so much better if it moved around Australia annually.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I’d seriously worry about our future if some 19/20yr old good enough for the junior wallabies was playing colts. That’s not a ringing endorsement of their talents. We need to somehow understand the narrative over here isn’t the actual reality. Our players and especially our youth play more...

Can confirm all the Melbourne boys have as well, be it in QLD or in Melb.

    Wallabies 2023

Where is this Koroibete chat coming from? He was by some measure the best wallabies player on the field 2 weeks ago. It’s simply bizarre. It’s like the ABs calling for Savea to be dropped after a quiet game on the weekend or Ireland dropping Sexton because he misses some kicks for goal.

For those that know Stephen A Smith would be proud of that take from BR haha

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I can’t remember the podcast but prominent rugby guru Mark Evans was on record saying players in every country play too much rugby these days on a health perspective but Australia is the one outlier where players don’t play enough.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I was just about to write back saying they are getting another 10 pro games a year to expose players because of the NPC. Players getting their games picked apart by analysts, so any decision making patterns they might have that are flaws get quickly exposed and players therefore quickly adapt to...

    Wallabies 2023

It’s the individuals. You can’t deny that between Jones, Cheika and Rennie they haven’t had world class coaching. Reality is the cattle just isn’t at the correct standard.

It’s why I’m on the Kellaway to 15 bandwagon.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Man for man is just a generalization but Boffelli is a perfect example. He’s not incredible on his feet, he’s not powerfully explosive, he’s not ridiculously quick. He’s obviously very good at these things but compared to Wright he’s not as “gifted” however he is so smart in his decision making...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I’ll continue saying it but we are playing against guys that are playing 30-35 games a year. They just understand how to handle situations when they arise on the field because they have seen it time and time again. They are better pros than our guys, not that they are better trainers and look...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Wright is cooked if Kellaway is fit. That was a shocking performance and backed up his game in RSA where he was a massive issue with the back 3. The pack I thought was okay, however with AAT playing the bulk of minutes we are never going to be a contender with the best teams on a consistent...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Wright horrendous. That’s all I have to say. Should give up the 15 experiment and focus on becoming a quality winger
  20. Wallaby Man

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Considering he’s the club no.1 ticket holder, I think it’s safe to take this to the bank as truth.
