  1. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

Going to need a very disciplined performance and JOC (James O'Connor) kicking needs to be on target. This is an absolute must win, Wales are well and truly depleted.
  2. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

    I'm a big fan. That's a scary forward pack
  3. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

    Yep, White or Slipper.
  4. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

Agreed RebelYell, I think we go all out with the French based players and give them one final chance. Very unlikely they will play in the Rugby Championship next year so may aswell give them most of this game to prove if they are any chance of the RWC 2023. 1. Slipper 2. Latu 3. Tupou 4...
  5. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

No one can replace Hooper... he is the heart and soul of Australian Rugby. But with the players available, Samu and Faianga'a are both equipped to fill the void. McReight isn't head and shoulders above them.
  6. Rugby Head

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

Not really on this one, Pete Samu and Colby Faianga'a are adequate replacements at 7. I'd actually put them both ahead McReight.
  7. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

The Tom Wright vs Manu Tuilagi battle will be interesting. Wright to dance around him with the ball and Tuilagi to run over him when he has the ball.
  8. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

England are a big physical pack, all I can envision is Swain get absolutely dominated. After 1 game to settle in, I think Skelton will make a statement against some of his old mates from Saracens.
  9. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Even Jonny May, he always seems to tear up whenever he plays Aus.
  10. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Still yet to see any official news saying he's out, fingers crossed he will be good to play. Would be a massive loss for us.
  11. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

We've certainly got some props in Australia, up to international standard though? I'm scratching my head looking anywhere past Thor and AAA.
  12. Rugby Head

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Wow, this really highlights how little depth we have at tighthead behind Thor and AAA. We need to blood Pone early next year and hope he will be ready for RWC 2023.
  13. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Give the guy a break, he was catapulted onto the test scene too young and yet to grow into his body. He's 21 years old, he isn't done yet.
  14. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Hamstring... looks like his year is over.
  15. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Rodda is the best of Phillip, Swain and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) but I do still think he's a bit of a passenger. Arnold is dominate in the lineout and has the ability to bend the line. We all know what Skelton can do.
  16. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

With respect to our current hookers/ second rowers, Latu, Arnold and Skelton will walk over them into the 23. The only reason we won't see them this weekend is their attention to detail on the team patterns etc... In saying that, there's only three games, we need them firing for all three...
  17. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Only issue running a 6/2 split is if Petaia can't get through the 80 and another back goes down, could be very risky... I'm comfortable with: 1. James Slipper 2. Folau Fainga'a 3. Taniela Tupou 4. Izack Rodda/ Matt Phillip 5. Rory Arnold 6. Lachlan Swinton 7. Michael Hooper 8. Rob Valetini 16...
  18. Rugby Head

    Wallabies 2021

McReight needs to stack on some weight. Realistically, Hooper will play 80 mins for all three tests. If injured, Samu will play 7 and Colby will join the bench.
  19. Rugby Head

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

    My team: 1. Slipper 2. Latu 3. Thor 4. Rodda 5. Arnold 6. Swinton 7. Hooper 8. Valetini 9. White 10. JOC (James O'Connor) 11. Kellaway 12. Paisami 13. Ikitau 14. Wright 15. Petaia 16. FF (Folau Fainga'a) (FF (Folau Fainga'a) to start/ Kaitu'u to 16 if Rennie doesn't think Latu is ready) 17. Bell 18. AAA 19. Skelton 20. Samu 21...
