Good question! This is an interesting proposition and thanks to FW for posing it! :)

From some of the above posts it seems that Kings Rory Davis has fallen out of favour - at least among the contributors so far! Any particular reason? Maybe you have some inside goss CTPE? Also - not a lot of support for David Morris from New? Some excellent backrowers named though.

That's good news for View! From previous posts they will be a relatively young squad so, however they go this year, they will be set up for a really good 2014! Good luck to them!

Following your philosophy gpsOB - who are likely to be the unlucky ones to miss out? Take out the categories that you've nominated ( The current GPS players who made last years GPS teams, NSW Schools and Australian Schools plus any others who are in the NGS ) and are there any standout newcomers...

Carlin Simon is an Illawarra and Country rep as well! Son of RL international John!

Selection politics and bias, Gold Squads unfairness etc.

Conspiracy theories abound! CTPE ( or should I call him CTS! ;) ) is correct though - last minute call to JGS squad members to fill in at half time. Nice to see Secret Squirrel get a run too!!! :)

Selection politics and bias, Gold Squads unfairness etc.

I hear that the Sydney JGS squads are putting on a full contact 7's demo at half time in the Waratahs vs. Chiefs game on Friday night. May be their only chance for a hit out now that the program has finished!

I want to know what CTPE's stance/reaction is to this??? Can we expect a new "nom de plume"??!! Cheers, Wreckless :)

I hope they're back in the top echelon with High sooner rather than later and sounds like at least steps are being taken.

At risk of earning Georges ire and being consigned to the dribble category I would like to comment on the "versing" issue! I have actually seen a particularly impressive exhibition of this! After a semi-final ( loss ) in the early 1980's the UWA players had a post season dinner/drinks at a...

Robertson will be somewhere in the mix - coming off the rowing season he will be fit and ready to go! There will be a lot of competition for places in the backs with most of last years team back again and plenty of guys pushing up from last years 2nd's and 3rd's.

I saw Josh out at Blacktown AAGPS athletics last week and he looks in really good nick! He has bulked up but lost none of his speed - I expect him to have a good season! Even if New persist with Milne at 11 remember that Ellis Abrahams is still there and he had a good year at 12 in 2012. I see...

Why is it a down side to pursue the best coaching staff? Surely schools also try to attract the best teaching staff, or in an ideal world a combination of both? Wherever the boys end up they will have the benefit of good coaches for skills and attitude. Full marks too to the "part-timers" who...

Interesting order! Where would you put Joey's? I have always considered that their depth and good results across all teams and age groups last year would stand them in good stead - particularly with the new format and extended season. Cheers, Wreckless :)

Newington: 1. Established great footballer: Tepai Moroea - distinguished season last year and well deserved representative honours. If he can get a good share of the pill he will be a standout again in 2013. 2. Rising star: Josh Mitchell (backs) and Stuey Mill ( pigs). Mitchell - strong &...
