Browning, in my opinion, has the highest ceiling of all those players (or Lolo).

Signings: I'd be looking to shaft ant Fainga'a, quirk and turner. I'd consider getting rid of Saia as well considering they come as a package deal. Put emphasis on keeping Gill, Holmes, Slipper, Hanson, Simmons, Browning, Lolo, Frisby, Kerevi as they are the future of this team. I'd look to...

Agree, lets say you were coach of reds 2016 - what would you be doing to the player group? Taking into account current signings / rumours.

Its not as if he has spent his entire career on the pine ala Aiden Toua. he has still probably played about 30 games.

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

One thing that strikes me as funny about all this is the article had both QC (Quade Cooper) & RG staying..... i feel like you're either going to get one or the other, i can't see Quade wanting to stay if RG is still the head coach 2016.

I'm sad but happy about it. I am happy that CFS might go on and get a whole lot better, but sad because he is still one of my favourite players. But agree with Hugh Jarse. Its fucked to think that the top level of QLD rugby is actually the worst for player growth. CFS is a prime example...

i agree, Chris hasn't gotten any better since joining the reds. Its like they have stifled his growth. I feel like reds are trying to take advantage of his size and it is ruining his natural game. you don't see him putting on any of those crazy steps he used to have, and looks like he has lost...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

there are two ways to look at this: play to our strengths - or nullify the oppositions weaknesses. Our set piece is never going to set the world on fire but as it stands, it isn't that fucked (And those stats are reflective of a Hooper/McMahon combo) I am all for a hooper/pocock combo...

Mate, all these players are 20 years old and doing pretty well at Prem level. I wouldn't be so quick to knock them down.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Why do we have to play the stereotypical roles of a 6 & 7? can someone please elaborate the key reasons why we can't have both on the field at the same time (one at 6?). For mine, their games compliment each other pretty well. Deep within our hearts, we all want this. at scrum time you just get...

no doubt, what i like about mcintyre is that he isn't going to lose you a game. He is reliable and does all the basics really effectively. However, he doesn't have any subtleties or 'special skills' in his game that are necessary for a rookie at s15 level. If you watch his NRC highlights ()...

i like mcintyre, he is a well rounded player for his age with no obvious flaws (pop gun boot aside), however he just doesn't seem like he has the flair to take it to the next level. I dont know, watching him in NRC last year, whilst he didn't make many mistakes i was always left wanting more.
