I have a mate who left Joeys after playing in the As from 13s-15s, he was offered a straight up rugby scholarship to Riverview but turned it down because they wouldn't let him play league.

The players marks arent their actual ranking, its the cut off mark for the course they are in. Bonus points and scholarships could have bumped up a few rankings, theres also a few who have dropped down as the cut off mark for their course was lower than their actual ranking.

Whitley is in the Wallabies academy but not sure what club he is off too. Jack Dempsey is playing Toyota Cup in Newcastle whilst Rorke and Sam Gerry-Burgess are both at Souths

Sandell did have a brother at Joeys at the time, Hardys dad is an old boy i believe and Penisi won a math scholarship and surprisingly is actually very good at math.

Top post IS. The belief that there is an age group at Joeys with more football teams than rugby teams is a myth. There are an about 4 football teams in each age group and 7-8 rugby teams, with 5 opens football teams and 13 rugby. I dont think Joeys boys will ever get sick of playing rugby...

GPS teams anyone ? Only certainties for me are Sandell, Kellaway and Milne. Every other spot is up for grabs at this stage but i expect these three to feature.

Newington wil be going into the season as favourites, but like rugbyscribe said Joeys depth could get them over the line come the second round of fixtures. I expect Scots to be strong also with a weakened back line minus Stewart and Horowitz but a foward pack including Dunbar, Kamp and Crichton...

Kirks already lost, has been playing league his whole life and only recently started in union. Already signed with the Bulldogs for Harold Matts and SG Ball.

Apparently the Norths 1st Colts Squad is packed with Joeys and Newington boys. OPL, Sam Barclay, Josh Kay and Josh Wilde are a few, heard the James Goldie is even at Norths which will be a massive loss for Gordon.
