    John I Dent Cup 2019

John I Dent Cup 2019 is about a month away from kick off. Who has the news on signings and goings on? Are Easts going back to pre 2018? Are Wests in for a big year after picking up several new players? Will Vikings win again? Are Queanbeyan going to hit the mark this season

    Shute Shield 2019

Such a dull atmosphere every time you play there. They get less than West Harbour do!

    Shute Shield 2019

Might take their crowd number up to 200 for that game. Do they even have supporters outside of their volunteers etc?

John I. Dent Cup 2018 - ACT Premier Rugby

Edit: I retract nearly every statement of this after seeing & hearing goings on in pre season but won’t delete comments to see how wrong it all was 1. Vikings - resources, good coaching, depth and the best counter attack in the comp. very hard to stop 2. Eagles - have 2x Aussie 20s props...

    Shute Shield 2019

Which clubs have recruited? Who has Coleman enticed over to Gordon with his cheque book waving around?

John I. Dent Cup 2018 - ACT Premier Rugby

Eagles have a couple and are setting up for a big season. Leber has left Wests for Shute Shield action in Sydney with Norths

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Owls will struggle whilever their scrum goes backwards. Their general game is ok but their scrum has been decimated by Wests and Whites, and probably more

    Shute Shield 2017

That Wests v Eastwood game was fantastic footy all over the park. Open, skilful and even though people wouldn't of chosen it as a TV game, it made for an awesome TV game

    Shute Shield 2017

Simone is the goods. Hegarty not so much. I ant believe he's picked ahead of guys like Sam Lane, Hamish Angus or Jai Ayoub to be honest. Just doesn't make sense

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Injury time and a hugely dominant Wests scrum where the Norths front row were firstly marched big chunks down the field on about 3 or 4 occasions and penalised when their scrum fell apart. Norths weren't helped by the fact both their 2nd rowers left the game with injury. Either team could of...

    Shute Shield 2017

Maybe Easts should of taken an early game to a regional centre too after the debacle of Woollahra Oval happened

    Shute Shield 2017

Wests mustn't be much good to be rolled by Gordon by that much... Manly were clinical against a poor Parramatta. Good to see Randwick hand Sydney Uni another defeat. Would of been a much better TV game than the marlins/parra game as there was a few Tahs running around there. The rest of the...

Think Hodge was a 10 in juniors for his enormous boot ;)

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Not at all. The majority of Super players come from Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra comps anyway

So apart from the Vikings who is gonna be there on GF day? Or is it still too early?

    Shute Shield 2017

Perfectly summed up. Sick of young blokes (however talented they may be) being thrown straight into super games and shitting their pants because it's not so easy anymore. Surely SOME time in grade - whether it's 3 games or 2 seasons to sharpen their craft in a more physical and much quicker...

    Shute Shield 2017

The problem with this is that there are plenty of players over the years who have started in 3s and even 4s and gone on to play 1st grade. Also, some 4th graders get a real kick training alongside 1st grade players. Some of these social players are there for a good time, some are there to become...

    Waratahs 2017

Need Hanigan was the best lock in Shute Shield last season and had a fantastic NRC too. Sam Figg stepped up at 6 too. I'd play Hanigan over Skelton in a starting Tahs lineup any day of the week

    Shute Shield 2017

Round 1 of SS seems to of been booked in for first weekend of April... So 2 more weeks for 2017 it seems?
