    Questions for Laurie Fisher

What's his view on the Wallaby backrow right now? Would he have had Mowen and Auelua in the squad as options? Edit: didnt see Jets post

    Vickerman

Vickerman showed us what we need more of in Australian rugby.....more pissed off giant South African forwards.

    Rebels 2013

Pretty sure someone posted that he had gotten something new with a league club? He hasn't been playing for GPS so I assume that may be true.

Wallaby Backrow - The Way Forward?

After the way he finished the Super Rugby season, I think Jake Shatz is one who can fit this bill in a year or so.

    Rebels 2013

Joey Lagavesi was at Easts but moved to GPS where he has been starting on the wing for them. Matt Garland was with the Gold Coast Titans, then back at GPS last season aswell, not sure where he is this year though. But yes unstoppable team.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

University's line up has changed so much since the start of the season. Seem to be playing alot of younger boys and doing it with alot of success. Apparently this young winger Tuglai (?) is one to watch for them, still 19?

    Rebels 2013

God damn that was one of the best Schoolboy sides. Smashed their closest rivals Nudgee by 35pts. Untouchable side (Browning, Alo-Emile, Lagavesi, Faulkner, Garland, F'Sautia, Salifoili and Tupou)

Just be careful what you post champ, this isn't me being precious about my club, it's just you posting for a reaction. And TD someone said Toby White was a slight chance of playing, but doubtful. It'd be great if Jordie Tupou is available. Not sure on Pettowa Parakka's status, we could of used...

2012 Rugby Championship Game 2 Argentina vs South Africa - 25 August

How good was the Argentine line-out. Best in the competition easily (best in the world?)

Wallaby Backrow - The Way Forward?

How depressing that our best option right now is 6- Dennis 8- Samo Compare that to Messam, McCaw, Read or Coetzee, Alberts, Spies. Even a full strength Argentine backrow would be better then ours. We are desperately short on quality 6/8's right now

2012 Rugby Championship Game 2 Argentina vs South Africa - 25 August

I have sympathy for the South African fans, they are going through the exact same nonsense with their coach as we are with Deans.

Wallaby Backrow - The Way Forward?

You're having a laugh aren't you? Yeh Hooper was brilliant last night, he is ahead, but Liam was one of the few forwards that didn't get slaughtered, he didn't look out of place. Yes Pocock>Hooper>Gill but not by the ludacris lengths you've stated. For me, Dennis and Higgers need a big kick up...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

I thought it was a brutal match. Easts blew many opportunities with wæ too many handling errors. The ball running of JP Smith and Phil Kite was very effective, with a run up they are some of the best ball runners in the comp. As usuall my most uttered word was "fuck UJ" who again had a shocker...

I always watch the game elsewhere, I hate the rabble that goes on in the standa.

G&GR Wallaby Player of the Year: v NZL (Eden Park)

    3-Hooper 2-Timani 1-Ioane

Rumor has it Sam Lane will be in Tah land next year? QLD were chasing him but haven't heard much on that in a while. Taumata would be good for you guys, but again I think QLD may be chasing him, seeing as Louis Frisby seems to be unavailable now.

It'd take away some of the rivalry of Wests vs Uni aswell. Grudge matches like this are the best to watch, usually bring massive crowds as SouthernX said. I'll say this though, parking at both those clubs can be a fucking nightmare.

    Reds 2013

I think it has been overlooked that this shirt deal was probably organized as part of his contract. I don't blame them, the bloke is a superstar, ask any child under 12 who their favourite player is and 90% of the time it will be Quade. The whole "ubyou" message is a great one aswell.

So what's everyones views for this weekends matches? Easts vs GPS, the loser of this one could potentially be the end of their season. Having Greg Riley back for Easts makes the backrow more balanced, whilst Jay Halevu matching up against Buttler should be brutal. Looks like Toby White won't be...

    Reds 2013

Really puts in perspective how big Quade is to an organization. You don't see anything like this with any players at other clubs, or atleast not to this scale.
