    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

That's too deep for my liking.

    RWC 2015

Seriously, people are going to just have to learn to deal with it. Everyone knows that having one guy wear both a wallaby coach cap and a waratah coach cap is suboptimal for a number of reasons. And to look at it backwards, the fact that some players get more time with the wallaby coach (at...

    Pocock Arrested

On the contrary, we feel that they are reaching out to us with these little gestures. We're the glue that keeps the union together.

    RWC 2015

Yeah I agree, its not optimistic enough. Typically in a world cup year I expect us to take The Rugby Championship or equivalent as Steve Hansen bathes Richie and Carter in that pool from Coccoon.

Unless Whitehaven Coal are wallaby sponsors, and we may be that desperate in the near future, the ARU will probably not be that worried about him engaging in a cause that resonates with so many punters.

    Pocock Arrested

I'm generally not in favour of shooting people (unless perhaps it is the only way to prevent imminent and serious harm to others from their actions). I'd prefer to play something soothing on my banjo.

Think of the odds we'll get from Tom Waterhouse.... Sweet!

In terms of numbers we can't improve - didn't we win every scrum we fed on the weekend? The Poms just used the scrums they fed to milk penalties and march up the field. I would say it's cynical but it's the rules as they stand.

Yeah, in terms of scrummaging for example we can be and usually have been significantly better. Slipper and Kepu are our first choice props, sure, but they have had a long season with too many minutes and a heavy training schedule if the noises coming out of camp are to be believed. TPN and...

Losing Simmons (realistically when he was injured, rather than halftime) was costly at the set piece and around the park. That guy is almost unrecognizable now compared to to even early this year. Much more accurate and effective, esp cleaning out.

He had a brilliant game, so many breaks. But just every now and then if they could turn into tries....

You certainly can't cruel so many opportunities and spill the ball when the scrum is so dominated.

Interesting that Cooper and Beale appear to have been given quite different roles each time they come on in the last 20. Cooper has been very steady - Cheika has gotten him playing a very sane style with minimal Cooper crazy, just the sort of thing we've hoped for. Beale is rampant, he runs...

+1. Frankly the Cooper/Foley thing has become tiresome. It's not a travesty of justice. It's just a perfectly understandable selection decision. I'll freely admit to being a Cooper tragic but he has been given opportunity and and been.... ok. If he had (during the game time he has had) taken...

We had him last year against the boks in September, didn't we? Yellow card-a-thon. That wasn't pretty, and the scrum.... I'm preparing my self righteous indignation in advance, it's too easy to go with numb acceptance in the wee hours.
