No, not Norths Rugby Club , but North Sydney Council who paid the SRU for the rights. The SRU also get the gate takings. Money from the bar & food etc. goes to North Sydney Council. North Sydney Council also pay for the overheads, e.g. security staff etc.

A dominant scrum obviously can influence the outcome of a game, but there are many games won by a team...

In general terms I agree with you about the defence, but there are games when the defence is so good that there are few opportunities to score. But this was a game when the attack was so good from both teams , that the usual standard of defence was just not good enough to prevent the try fest...

There are plenty of examples of other clubs ,both this season ,& in previous seasons. doing the same thing.

It's not just Rugby , & it's not just Australia. I was speaking to a former All Black's coach last week about this very subject, & he told me that the same problems were being experienced in New Zealand as well.

Not my win mate. That's not my point. It's a win for Rugby in the West & for giving exposure & opportunity to the less fashionable clubs despite the naysayers who don't recognise that without these clubs ,their supporters & sponsors , we wouldn't have a competition.

Well bugger me, there I was all settled in to watch an "uneven contest" as predicted, instead of a close game like Manly v Wicks , & bloody Wests ruined the day. Channel 7(2) really stuffed up choosing this match. How can this be good for our game? LOL.

You can ask , but it doesn't follow that your first club are obliged to grant your transfer. I know of cases when requests were unsuccessful.
