    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

One big thing Jake has shown the coaching world with success with Saffas and now brumbies is the excellent use of support staff. If Link can ge the right support staff in the camp.... can only be good thing with his man management skills.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Cant wait to see him playing with QC (Quade Cooper).... be awesome....lookout ABs...!

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

I thought couple of interesting comments FOlau made - One was talking about how QC (Quade Cooper) would / gives his outside back room - Obviously Folau understands that (for backs) rugby is all about giving themselves room... Interesting... Unfortunately I think he kept his cards pretty close to himself and...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Beating kiwis in NZ would be an excellent start....

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Just watched full press release from Link - I think its highlights one of his best gifts... and that is he gets to know the players and talks about creating depth in individual positions... so good to hear. He also talks about getting to know the players 'as individuals / people' to work out...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

lol... as a regularly reader and poster on a Saffa rugby site - I'd say saffa ref whinging is still well alive and kicking - just mention ol' Brycy... I think we stand together when on the topic of wanting/hoping/liking to see the ABs cop a bit of rough treatment at the hands of the man in the...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

But seriously you cant defend the poor kicking and passing from your supposed 'play makers' - Every champion rugby team has got a champion 5/8 - its undeniable. Why choose an outside back as your main playmaker when the country had at least 2 better options in To'omua and QC (Quade Cooper) playing IN position...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Not JOC (James O'Connor) @ 10 - and at the very least QC (Quade Cooper) on the bench

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

A saffa sticking up for the ref...??? ...how very unusual.... Must say though the Frenchy didn't do too bad a job with exception of one or two things. He wasn't the cause of the demise - in my books, and history will show poor selections was THE MAIN reason for things not going well...

    Cheerio Deans

For a very real application of this - Look at the deal ARU did regarding Beldisloe Cup Game 1... In Syndey.... 10 year dela or some such???? I would have no issues with the commercial side of this deal IF the wallabies didn't have such a horrendous record @ this venue. AND for game one of...

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

On reflection was probably a little harsh on Barnes - But reality is hes probably played all of... 100mins? for Tahs this year. I was pretty critical of mckibbin / foley early on in the season but I think they have formed a really nice combination and just felt that Barnes interfered with that...

Think loss of izzy will hurt tahs Barnes not so much as he hasn't helped win a game all year. Should be good game lets hope both show some running rugby...

    Cheerio Deans

Deans shoulda coulda resigned at end of rwc2011 with semi final in his résumé... Classic case of not quitting while on top of your game.... Wonder if any tier 1 international team would even be interested in him now...

Scrum changes will mean that props 'bind' in stead of 'touch'... Ie bind pause engage. Hopefully will get rid of interpretations of ref and dominant scrum more obvious.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Re one eyed commentary go listen kiwi commentators and get total impartiality from them..... Or Saffa commentators... Whatever mate ur watching rugby in this country expect a bit patriotism... Marto is right by the way even from the perspective of a non qlder.... I think kiwis seem to miss his...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Consider too - BILs planning to bring it more direct through mid-field so bench Davies and Tuilagi on... All of sudden AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) (who is reportedly not100%) defending against 2x giants... Risk of injury increases more... Hooper may find himself in the midfield again......................

    long term coach?

No, I agree, to the contrary - I think it shows his ability to identify talent and use it... I just wonder whether Link has the $$ budget to do the same (if he wanted to... is also the other question). I think on his stand alone coaching ability alone then - one would have to say that Link has...

    long term coach?

    can only hope....!

    long term coach?

lol - I see your point... But from where I sit - QC (Quade Cooper) plays very well under Link (sure he does a few crazy things but win/loss record would speak for itself) and all the Qlder players seem to love him - including Horwill / Genia etc... so the reason he mustn't fire under Deans would have to be...
