    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

The only thing I'd say about Cummins is that he just needs an extra yard of pace

I thought we left a fair few points out there - we could have scored a few more tries but blew it at the last moment, or simply failed to spread it wide when we had numbers. Also, why were we aimlessly kicking the ball away in the last period of the game? What was satisfying - our backs looked...

If anyone wants to meet up for a beer before the game, i'll be the bloke in the early 90s wallaby jersey and RMs (this may not narrow it down at all) standing outside the little off licence on Whitton road (the road from the station to the stadium) with a beer in hand - the Last Try it is...

    Lions Tour 2013

My team would be pretty close to Gregan's. I would make a few changes, however. Firstly I'd probably have Dan Palmer in at 3. I'd leave Robinson at 1, although I hope he is able to find some better form before the series starts. The second issue revolves around inside centre. I wouldn't...

Rain forecast. This will probably mean more dropped ball, i.e more scrums. Yay

    Throwback Thursday

Great moment, still remember where I was. But he was wrong about one thing. Had he missed that kick people wouldn't have remembered him as 'the bloke who missed that kick', but as 'the bloke who won us two world cups and a lions series'.

Well it doesn't look too bad a team, given the circumstances. Would have liked to have seen Moore start, but maybe he isn't 100% fit. Also, while Beale might seem the best choice at 10...it wasn't long ago that he was the most dangerous fullback going around and I think he is better at 15...

I guess it would be too optimistic to hope that Taps will be moved to 12 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13? Deans will probably slot Harris into 12, or move Barnes there and bring Harris back at 15.

    Wallaby injuries: poor diet?

I seem to remember Liam Gill on the GAGR podcast a while back talking about the work he was doing to put on some muscle as he wanted to increase his playing weight by a few kegs. He said, if I remember correctly, that he had to 'keep an eye on his carbs' or words to that effect. I remember being...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

Speaking of 'Scotland' moments, we've now lost our most previous games against Scotland, England, Ireland, France, South Africa, Samoa, and 3 out of the last 4 (the last one being a draw) against NZ.

    Deans contract extension

Well tonight Deans just missed out on the record for the worst loss to France. He could have added it to his stellar record of having our worst loss to England, worst loss to South Africa (which I think was also the worst loss ever by a Wallaby side?), not to mention his outstanding record...

Very ordinary. There was a good phase there for a few minutes, but we just didn't capitalise. Apart from that very, very ordinary. Special mention to the honey badger. That bloke always looks like he's playing his guts out
