And 7 opens soccer teams. The times are a changin. Re AFL, I understand that the pitch was essentially 'we will provide grounds, transport, gear, coaching, kit, umpires. You just have to let us in.' Hard to say no to that.

@SDW - to confirm, you are picking J by 33 points? Geez I wish your were my bookmaker

Some may be back. Others have longer recovery times. As for resting players, no idea, but under the reign of the current coaches, Knox has typically put out its best 15 (allowing for injuries) each week.

Knox also taking a depleted team to Hunters Hill tmrw, with 6 regular firsts players now having joined team Rehab. Fortunately (for Knox, obviously not for the boys concerned whom I wish a speedy recovery) it appears that Joeys also have a few out, so the relative strength of the two teams will...

Wow that is impressive organisation - a kid injured on Saturday, a quick trip down to Manly for SG Ball training - "Hey buddy, wanna scholarship to Knox? You'll have to start this week though - we need you to play Joeys 2s on Saturday". Incredible.

As in 'Yes Minister' interesting? I too would have liked to see Waves' Coleman and/or Cornish appointed.

What is happening with View this year - there are far too many quality players in their line up to be having 50 odd points scored against them regularly?

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Gee QH, and you accused me of wading in to wind people up unnecessarily. I don't give a toss whether they win or lose as long as it's a competitive match. Having effectively been told by you and your ilk for some time now that CAS dont deserve to be on the same pitch as GPS teams, It's...

Fantastic result by Waves against a team I thought could test them. Whilst thinking they could win being at Death Valley, to score 50 against the structure and discipline New showed last week shows how good Waves must be this year. That they have apparently sorted some past behavioural issues...

    CAS Rugby 2017

Based on previous years I think the team will be selected immediately following round 3 of the CAS comp. As much as I support the blue n black, I can't see 7 Knox and 4 Waves being the outcome here. Don't want to put the mockers on anyone, as all named above are very good players, but I think...

And that Knox have won 2 and Barker 1 - as good as they appear to be, there's more to this than Waves.

Knox v Joeys 16As next week is shaping as a great match up.

Scots score on the bell to seal win over Knox 33-19. Tough entertaining match. $ obviously a bit tight at Bellevue Hill, with the program only listing Scots teams.

    14-5 to Scots @ HT

    ISA 2017

Agreed. I would point out though that when Rat Park was washed out for a trial b/w Knox and Augs this year, Knox offered to play at Warawee but Augs declined.

    ISA 2017

@outsidein22 - I agree with much of what you say and would welcome a broader CAS/GPS/ISA comp. I do think that if you have another look on the CAS thread from early April you'll find plenty of CAS supporters quite pleased about the Stannies win over Knox, whilst a small no. pointed out it was...
