    Where to for Super Rugby?

I didnt pay alot of attention, but know lots, and thought wow. How long is Pocock Sabatical? How much are we paying him whils he's not even playing? I ask this using the reference to Elsom and a couple of others on the preceeding pack. I thinking we are shrinking because we are not feeding...

Dru spot on. Stoff, alot of water has flowed under the bridge since Brumbies, Rebs, Force said their players can't drift back to their premier clubs if they were in another state - we've all accepted it and moved on. One of the points when all that was discussed was it will help rugby...

The Difference Between Kiwi and Aussie/Saffer Teams

Doing better than last time repeatidly puts you on an incline. Resting good goes stale, and gets chucked out.

Seen a few Premier Players at rugby camps over the last year being paid. School Holiday camps that go from 9 - 3. Even some of the professionals chip in; And the kids love it. And yes i agree with you on the "well paid players" in no way am I debating you there. In my eyes it should be...

Politics is also hurting us, to many people up top thinking about themselves and the top. Plenty of punters at our level want to see rugby thrive, and have no doubt contributed along the way. Question - how much money does the top need to tip into a model like this. AFL's school Auskick...

True, and playing with mates as well. In regrds to Tertiary Education - if NSWRU took an interest in overall development and uni scholarships is that possible, could that help. Travel, I believe there are some kids traveling along way rom their local club, i wonder way. No we dont, i believe the...

A points system that works ;) All clubs know what it is trying to acheive, work together to acheive that as we are not getting any help from above. If we have a strong thriving colts comp, with the rep points spread, and we have clubs working on pathways our game will prosper.

Concentrating on the top for to long and it; FALLS HARD. There has been nothing special with any of our 5 teams. And NZ keep repeating excellence. Our sporting landscape is different, yes, but our current systems and processes - are they working?

    Sydney Colts - 2017

The points cap was 35 points in 2015, and increasd to 40points in 2016 with the accumulation of points brought in for subs. Whilst this was set up with good intent this allowed teams to field teams with even more points, and they just made fewer subs, and young colts want to stay out there...

    Sydney Colts - 2017

I think we are agreeing. My post was saying grwoing the grass is important. And systems need to ensure that this happens. My intel tells me the eletist clubs but up 2 up 2 options; 1 Front row isnt included at all. 2 and increase in points so they can have more school boy stars. With number 1...

    Sydney Colts - 2017

I'm not sure what than means :) The points are in place for a reason - and everything has a fault. I still think there should be far more work put into growing the numbers so there are more players pushing the quality higher - growing grass is far more important than fighting about the points.

I haven't read over the points thing. I don't think it has been signed off yet, it sounds like the clubs pushing the boundaries first said front rowers shouldn't be included in the points and offered the increase and changes to 40 as a second option. The points are put in place to spread the...
