Rep playe rep players had to play 2 games for their club in order to qualify for finals...quite a fair rule.

Norths appealed to have Cam Crawford play but lost the appeal. The rules were upheld which stated that Rep players had to play at least 2 games for their club in order to qualify for finals.

Andrew Kellaway played No 15 for Gordon U/16s in the State Championships! He would have been one of the players subjected to the draft between Schools and SJRU so would be eligible for selection in NSWJRU team!

Perhaps all clubs should agree not to pay contracted Super 15 and Wallabies players. If these players are receiving an income from NSWRU and/or ARU why should clubs "top them up"? The game will never go back to pure amateurism but some common sense must prevail....perhaps this will happen after...

Reliably informed today that there will be no teams from NSW at the ARU 16s Nationals! The NSW Board wants to still send 3 teams as they have in the past but the ARU won't let them. So NSWRU isn't sending any!

Strong rumour that NSW will be fielding 3 teams again this year but no decision on whether NSW 1, 2 and 3 or SJRU, Schools and Country!
