W9: Force v Highlanders, HBF Park Saturday 22 April

yeah worth watching if you Australian. Force run away at the start, landers claw it back in the middle - force then run away with it.

W9: Force v Highlanders, HBF Park Saturday 22 April

I had a premonition that the Force would be up for this one and thought it might be a good game to watch. Think they'll improve each week towards the end of the main comp round.

Ok some big results across the divisions today. Drummoyne giving the poodle wankers an absolute belting in Div 1. Well done Forest for beating St Pats. No surprises in Div 2. Lindfield preparing for Div 1 next year. Div 3 no surprises. Manly Savers? wtf. They trained a few years ago at my son's...

    Shute Shield 2023

Yep and Manly beating Norths in a great game was sweet. Good to see Souths beat the Rats as well. A lot of upsets this weekend. The year feels like last season - a congested table with zero whipping boys.

Shore 16s vs Dara who came with 1 1/2 teams. Looked even in the As and the Bs result went to Dara. some big boys in the red and black. Good to see Shore playing a school they haven played for a while. Shore 3rds gave High a 5-1 beating. Though one of the Shore players said High looked a lot...

Easts scrum was starting to bulldoze manly, so made sense they were going for the 7.

    Subbies 2023!

it seems a lot of the Shute shield clubs have attracted a lot of colts across the board. I know this was discussed previously but these clubs do appeal. The Rats have a pretty good bar as do Easts for example - colties love that.

    Shute Shield 2023

yeah was thinking the same. An away draw is almost as good as a home win. Was standing with the father of one of the Easts players and some of the lower graders - jeez these blokes are just kids up close. Was asking about Jack Grant - apparently overseas as Tahs could only give him a 12 month...

Yes agreed the quality of the women's game has risen very quickly - just shows some investment and structure and we'll have a very competitive Wallaroos. I know one of the main sponsors of the NSW team - interesting insights - they still get paid bugger all but as the world cup approaches that...
