    QLD GPS Rugby 2011

BGS are a solid team but on the day TSS and ACGS were the better teams. To be honest, I thought that ACGS were nothing special- some big and fast centres and thats about it. If BGS had Josh Birch (outside) and Lakhem Aiono (prop/flanker/no.8/inside) i think they would have beaten churchie.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2011

The QLD 1 coach is not the grammar First XV coach.
  3. Knockers

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

James O'Connor should be playing 12 and Scott Higginbotham will play no.8. even if he is a natural 6. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 and giteau on the bench.
  4. Knockers

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Scott Higginbotham has to be in the team. If Sekope Kepu is fit he should be in the team.

Ideal side: 1. Ben Alexander 2. Tatafu Polota-Nau 3. James Slipper 4. Nathan Sharpe 5. James Horwill 6. Rocky Elsom 7. David Pocock 8. Scott Higginbotham 9. Will Genia 10. Quade Cooper 11. Pat McCabe 12. James O'Connor 13. Adam Ashley-Cooper 14. Digby Ioane 15. Kurtley Beale...

I agree with this performance last night. But he was only on for 20 minutes. He is still young star so plenty of time for improvement. Real contender for the 2015 world cup.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Benn Robinson is only good when it comes to scrums
  8. Knockers

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Fainga'a is overated. Interestingly, the Reds do better when the reserve hooker James Hanson is on the field.
  9. Knockers

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Tatafu Poloto-nau is ahead of Stephen Moore and Ben Daley and James Slipper will be the props.
  10. Knockers

    Queensland U16 Team

Georgiou did not start against BGS. Gunn has started every game. Digger only started against BBC
  11. Knockers

    Queensland U16 Team

Henry Fitzgerald is a Nudgee flanker. Should definitely be selected

Paraka made QLD II last year

Lauries did beat BGS in 2008. But BGS did play Iona and Villanova in trials this year. Beat Villa about 66-7 and Iona about 70-0

Talking about his younger brother. Similar skill-set just not the same size. And Jack is usually a 12.

Australian Schoolboys and National Championships 2011

Neither are superstars, really? How did Davies manage to gain a spot for Australia A last year and also QLD 1. Last year at nationals he was one of the standouts in the team. McIntyre has all the potential to be a great player.

Not saying that they are going well this year because they aren't. Just pointing out that they have new talents coming in and are on the improve.
  17. Knockers

    Queensland U16 Team

I am tipping James Tuttle (Jack's younger brother) for halfback of the red team. Lewis Radford must be a front runner for a spot on a wing.

Australian Schoolboys and National Championships 2011

Light- good selections. Preen is without a doubt a very good player and fully deserved his selection in QLD II, but I don't think he will make Australian Schoolboys 'A' this year. A definite contender for next year though. Any new on how Cornelsen (QLD II) is going?

    Queensland Schools Rugby Merger Idea

Light- How has BGS been underperforming? They have won 4/6 GPS games. They came close to likely premiership winners ACGS. You also say that IGS is ahead of BGS- but BGS beat IGS in round 2. You also imply that Downlands are better than BGS- but BGS defeated downlands when they were resting 4 key...
