Wallabies vs Ireland - 3rd test - Saturday 23rd June 2018 - Sydney Football Stadium

Once a Brumby, always a Brumby. They just can't shake the wild horse pack mentality.;)

I don't think Kepu would agree with you.

    Predictions!

That Ireland will win the first test in the last 3 minutes by 2 points because they are awarded a penalty try as a result of a high tackle by Beale on the Irish O/C. It will be highly disputed as it was 10 metres from the try line with Wallaby cover defense a 50/50% chance of preventing a try...

Possibly the reason Kerevi gets selected before Kurindrani (if this happens), is the former has a higher level of fitness. Cheika is a strong advocate of fitness, and Brad Thorn has delivered this in his coaching of Kerevi. At intense training sessions this week , Cheika would observ who hasn't...

I believe on closer questioning, the taxi driver admitted he couldn't tell the difference between Aussi & Kiwi accents, but did observe that the passengers were dressed in all black;)

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

So I'm curious. We always talk about how many born NSW'ers or how many Qld'ers are in the squad. But I'm curious to know how many players of Fijian or of Tongan, or Somoan extraction are in the squad? I know we are fortunate to have so many, because without them the Wallabies would probably be...

    U20s WC

In spite of a number of the postings above, it wasn't the players that lost the game for us. It was fairly obvious to me that this team, compared to the Welsh, were not well coached. Basic or unforced errors were too many for a national side, and as for planned moves, a man without an arm could...

    Reds v Highlanders

It could be a very good game for the onlookers. Both sides are going to be at it 'hammer & thong' The Reds have home ground advantage, but the Highlanders know that two consecutive losses to Aussi sides is not acceptable. Who knows, that may be a reason the Highlanders try too hard, and fall...

The Daug might just be having some R & R. It's a long season, and we have a good stock of wingers.

Round 11 Reds V Lions Sat Apr 28 3:05PM Suncorp Stadium

Its hard to believe that Hamish Stewart is finally in the starting No 10 position. I hope the forwards can put in the effort to give him that going forward feeling. He's not going to get much help from Ben Lucas whom if he sticks to his normal mode of play, will just shovel the ball on. Come to...

Round 11 Reds V Lions Sat Apr 28 3:05PM Suncorp Stadium

Here it is Thursday already, two days out from the game, and I've looked, and looked, and looked again, and no thread yet. What does this mean? I can only draw one conclusion: There is no interest in the game. It is a foregone conclusion, the Reds are going to get smashed. Or will Brad Thorn &...

Nah, I'll triple that... at least 3 points more (just call me optimistic).

    Round 10 - Reds v Chiefs, Saturday 21st April 2018 7:45pm @ Lang Park

George Smith & Tongan Thor looks like they might be in the starting side. This combined with the fact that the Chiefs are down 6 props to injury you would think will make the scrums one sided. Almost worth doing a few knock-ons to see if we can get some penalties. FIXED:)

    Round 10 - Reds v Chiefs, Saturday 21st April 2018 7:45pm @ Lang Park

Well the opposition is not a SA team so that should keep him impartial. But he was really bad for one of the Kiwi sides recently in SA. I can't remember who was playing who, but he and his assistants had no knowledge of the offside rule with the local side, and did they exploit it.
