ACR, Mrs D just said "aren't the eyes on the face"?! Clever lady, she did biology at school!!

I've never seen Coleman play before, but, as Bert Newton would say: "I like the boy"!!

Eye-gouging (by Black #3), picked up by Mrs D, but ignored by the man in blue and white!

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Is it possible that Cheika flogged our guys at training for the last four weeks, and when it came to BC 1, they had "nothing left in the (collective) tank"?! My one-word description of that match was: "Embarrassing". Embarrassing for those of us who are rusted-on Rugby fans, and embarrassing for...

    The Wallabies Thread

Scrubber, I remember the first time I went into the William St., Sydney Head office of the motor vehicle manufacturer which our company represented in country NSW. I couldn't help but notice the plaque that the CEO had above his desk, which read: "He who holds the gold makes the rules"!!

Is that why Sam Carter is out, and Will Skelton is in?!

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Hi Scrubber. I can't remember the place-kicking techniques on that video, just how "complicated" the field kicking was, and how a good kicker could 'manipulate' the ball! Our current players catch it, kick it, and hope for the best!! BTW, Rob Andrew could kick (effectively) with both feet!

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

In a 'previous life', (in the late 1990s), I managed a Colts team here on the Gold Coast. We were given a (kicking) training tape by the QRU, which featured the then England [71 caps], and British and Irish Lions [5 caps] #10, Rob Andrew. As a former second rower, I can remember being impressed...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Lawn bowls and polo would have to be high on the list! I was going to add boomerang throwing, however, I have a feeling that a Kiwi won that, not so long ago!!

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Seven nightly News, Brisbane, tonight reported coach Cheika as saying "we can beat New Zealand" ............... I assume he meant 'this year'!

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

For me, it was a "Tale of Two Coaches". One treated the match as 'a dead rubber' and 'a trial for the Bledisloe Cup', the other treated the match as 'a Rugby World Cup final'.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Can't say I'm approaching tonight's test with any confidence. I'm normally a positive person, however, after tipping an Australian win in the two previous tests, I'm going the other way, tonight. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we will get another lesson in the scrums, (the poms use their bodies...

Maybe a little too "modern" for some here, Pfitzy. I think many still prefer the hat-pin and the telephone directory!!
