Wow, I didn't realize your nation had made such stunning advances in human cloning since my visit.

I have a very difficult time trying to rationalize the SBW incident as an "accident" in the same nature as what happened with SOB. In the latter I think this was a true accident that could occur around most any ruck, with little or no intent. The SBW incident would be on the exact opposite end...

Maybe we will actually see Timu in Red at some point! What're the wraps on the younger guys? Missed most of the U-20s this year myself.

Best of luck in France, Jake! Thanks so much for your service.

He passed HIA and was subbed anyway, I believe. As a neutral I didn't and still don't see the O'Brien/Naholo incident as any different than Cane/Henshaw last year, neither should have been and rightfully weren't banned for what were accidental inevitabilities of a collision sport.

Simplest answer is he saw what he thought what was a chance to smash a half who wandered too close to the ruck and did what every forward in the world has been told to do in that situation since childhood.

SURELY IT WILL WORK OUT THIS TIME

Quade's already enough of a liability fielding high balls at 10, would rather never see him at 15. Please don't give anybody at Reds HQ any ideas about moving Duncan away from 12 either, I think he's been pretty spectacular there.. actually looks like a successful development of a young player...

    The Wallabies Thread

It's all a bit confounding when you consider Higgers was playing as hard on the ball, if not more, than nearly anyone else for most of the test. He even got pinged going in for it once or twice.

At a glance it's narrower and more passive, not something you can really do at the same time without expecting to get ripped open on the train tracks.

2017 RD15 Auckland Blues vs QNLD Reds (In Samoa)

Left touchie may as well not have been there with the shit he was missing during the game. We more or less got what we would have if he had picked up on Akira putting his foot on the line though.. and I seriously doubt we were going to score had the scrum call gone the right way at the end...

His box kicking was generally an issue for the Wallabies under past coaches and not the Reds so read into that however you choose to. I also don't really recall it being much of an issue in his last series of test matches for Australia, either. We can hang on to some bad kicks he made...

I would take him if we can afford him. He's only 29 and on very recent performances is in an entirely different hemisphere of talent and ability than our current 9s. Pretty sure he'd also tell Stiles to get stuffed if he was told to kick into the opposition 22 from our halfway.

Less cynically, this is the best shot in a long time that these guys are going to get at showing off their stuff without being thrown into the deepest of deep ends in Rugby. Cheika probably just wants to get a sniff at his known unknowns.

Not really. He addressed his points (the ball), or lack of, before anything else. Nothing he said was particularly egregious and what else are you really supposed to say in response to the absolute nonsense above him? Playing the man would be something more along the line of: "You're a...

We definitely aren't fit enough and a lot of guys have serious issues with contact on both sides of the ball, even worse the guys who had issues last year are just as bad if not worse than they were then, now.

I definitely see Tui's + G. Smith's replacements and the right wing (whether or not Perese is going to step up is in the air, he does as much good as bad but is still very young) as big priorities alongside with backups at 10/12. Can't see us getting near Banks with him asserting himself at...
