Parra played a 1/2 squad today. Our '2's beat Souths 59-12 and lower grades went Parras way convincingly.

Parramatta took 3 colts teams to Forshaw. While still very much in squad formation, Parra won 3's and 2's easily and went down 5 tries to 3 in 1's. good day for the boys. Off to Queanbeyan next week.

I've said it before on this thread, the paying of Colts is abhorrent and sends entirely the wrong message. Colts should play for the opportunities to grow, play with their mates and become imbued with the culture of the club. If you have to go buy a culture that's pretty sad.

Readers of this blog will be interested to know that Parramatta comfortably fielded three Colts teams at Rat Park yesterday and came away with two wins and a draw.

Absolutely agree No. 9. I know personally 4 of the category you mention in paragraph 2. They have a ridiculously inflated opinion of themselves and a skewed idea of what it takes from where they are to get to the top. Kurtley Beale has been mentioned elsewhere as one who went through that path...

Really not good enough from the Waratahs. The starting pack were all Wallabies except Ryan, yet they were ineffective. Polota Nau seems burnt out, fat or something yet still has more impact than any other forward. Cap'n Dave was nowhere and while Hooper tried hard he was outplayed by Gill. Well...

Very disappointing Waratahs. Too many mistakes an an apparent lack of passion, heart, whatever you call it. They have to learn to be tougher and be responsible for their personal performances.

The really disappointing thing is Folau was a Parra Junior Rep in u11 to u14 before moving to Queensland. He has relatives at the club and we're told he would have preferred to be aligned with Parra.
