Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

Ardie Savea is a beast. Had a huge 2019 and was one of the ABs best in 2020. Might have had a slow start coming back from injury but he is world class.

The only reason you bench Lolesio at this point is if there is someone else who you're pretty sure will be just as good if not better. To me, QC (Quade Cooper) is the only one who even comes close to that - and he would have to be training the house down to even come close to that.

    Wallabies 2021

Agree. I just think the expectations should be realistic until they have actually played a game.

    Wallabies 2021

Who knows if Arnold and Skelton will make much of a difference? Both have played Test rugby before and were OK and until they play an actual Test match, I wouldn't be looking to them for anything too special. They might be great. Or they may just be OK still.

    Refereeing decisions

Are you saying that Kiwi refs don’t ref fairly? That they are reffing the game so that the ABs win?

    Refereeing decisions

    Right. It’s the refs fault

Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

So would you just swap Akira and Ardie in position?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

NZ AUS SA ENG IRE SCO WAL FRA ITA ARG JAP That's the first 10 off the top of my head....did you really think 10 would be the most? Tops? Wiki lists 16 professional and semi-professional rugby competitions in the world. Yes - rugby is a mutha fkn global sport. :) edit: doubled up Wales...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's played in 100 countries. Played professionally in at least 23 countries I think. Yes. Global.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Share coaching staff and other resources?! You probably missed the Cooper Cronk controversy in the NRL but no - I don't think that happens in other professional codes. Decrease talent retention?!? WTF Decrease salary spending. Salary cap is being lowered next year but how do you expect...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

In what professional competition do you tell the best teams to 'rein it in'?!? Accomodating?!? This is a terrible, terrible attitude. Not one NRL fan would watch rugby union with that kind of approach to the competition. Can you imagine the response of NRL fans - regardless of whether they...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Agree and disagree. One of the most disheartening things for me since moving to Australia, has been playing club rugby, going to club events - prize-givings/court sessions etc - and the boys are more interested in watching the Raiders than watching the Brumbies. Or trying to talk rugby and...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I would rate Super Rugby as the best competition in the world bar Tests. At least it used to be. Again - it's no coincidence that the RWC has been won by SANZAAAR nations every time except 2003. NZ, SA and Australia have consistently been the best in the world and personally, I'd like to make sure that...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Agreed. All of the debate here may be completely null and void for at least another year or so. Or not. Who knows

    Where to for Super Rugby?

So if Australian Super Rugby teams were doing well and winning against NZ teams, you would still want to get rid of Super Rugby TT? How many Reds and Tah fans wanted to get out of Super Rugby around 2010 - 2015? And how many players want to stop playing the better quality comp? Every serious rugby playing country in the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Let's test your IQ - did Australians follow rugby when they were winning Bledisloe Cups and the Brumbies were winning Super Rugby Championships? Did the Reds and the Waratahs see jumps in game attendances when they were beating NZ teams? Rival codes - mainly NRL and AFL - provide the BEST quality...
