    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

One boys this year went from 8ths last year to 1s and 2s this year. Despite Joeys problems at the top and strength in the lower grades I can't see anyone from Bs or Cs making 1s next year. Happy to hear who donj has to put forward but

Which Clubs are the Class of 2013 going to?

I know in both the class of 13 and 14 Gordon was very successful and had a host of players from Shore, Riverview, Scots, Newington and Joeys. Names include the Kellaways, Cannell, Morris?, Deegan, Curtain, Woodhill and Fotokuva. You can expect many Joeys boys to head to Sydney Uni as per...

There definitely was a thirds comp, I think it was in the 1960's but wouldn't be able to tell you if TAS participated. When Joeys won the comp last year they mentioned that it was a relief they had as they still couldn't find the shield from the last time they won it !

It was actually the five eight and not the half. Either way a deserved 3 way premiership in the 16s. Joeys, Scots and Kings will looking good for the next 2 years.

All schools do this so please don't restrict it to Joeys and Shore. Once they hit 15s, all good teams leg lift and I saw it used by all states at the National Championships. I've only seen one referee penalise it and he even went far as to produce a yellow card. Refs are too lenient on it and...

Joeys 2nds, 4ths, 7ths, 8ths and 10ths are all undefeated and I think the 3rds, 5ths and 6ths are all still leading there comps with loses only to teams a few grades above them. Joeys 16As are undefeated and I'm sure in the lower grades at Joeys there are many more.

That Joeys parent had driven 8 hours to see his son play in what he expected to be a proper game and I also don't remember him ever abusing a Newington player.

Whilst I do agree with what most people are saying about the behaviour of Scots and Newington, I also believe this will not be the case next year. Riverview and Joeys will be the two powerhouses next year with the bulk of both sides being at the school since year 7. Newington will be the cellar...

That would be both the MIC of Sports and Rugby Coordinator. Joeys can be at no fault here and should have every right to expect a 15 a side especially in 4th grade. Newington had a whole stand reserved for them to sit with far more room then needed, however the small group of boys Newington have...

Thought the same thing when sitting across from the away fans stand which was mostly empty but there was a fair amount of New boys sitting in the stands near Jacks bar, still far less then expected. The 4ths XV game was an absolute disgrace. The Joes team had been warming up for half an hour...
