MT I like where your head is at, however, I don't think unis and clubs partnering up would be sustainable in the long term. The clubs would want to keep their identity and the unis would probably only enter the comp if they had full control of the team.

Pama Fou played a few seasons of Premier club rugby in Brisbane as a winger and was very explosive. Not sure whether he was ever approached with a serious 15s contract but I definitely think he'd be valuable in a Super Rugby team squad.

I don't see a problem with it being 10s instead of 7s. It makes the event seem more novelty which is what the NRL 9s seem to be going for (sleeveless jerseys fml).
