Quade played some of his best rugby in an Aus jersey under Rennie because he was finally prepared to under play his hand Hopefully he can do the same for Jones because none of the other options look like a test player at the moment

So three coaches have brushed him, but it was the coaches problem? It is like the guy divorced 3 tines, possibly he is the problem

The top prospects, more often than not, are in either of those two streams The public system now streams the top sportsmen into the Sports high schools whilst the privates offer scholarships into the same prospect pool

There are basically two juniors pathways, private schools and sport schools The step after that is the issue, post school, before Super Rugby

At the moment I would be happy just to see the rugby community engaged and pumping The fickle edge will turn up when decent winning rugby is played

Yeah, I thought Harrison showed more than the rest. Great skills and the mindset to chase hard and put his body on the line I am still dubious on Donaldson (I can't remember him doing great stuff so far that has made me go "ahh" that is what the hype is about) and whilst Edmed probably has a...

    Wallabies 2023

Every player is a compromise (apart from those very few "GOAT's") the coach just has to set up a side to leverage their strengths and scoring tries at a high level is a clear strength

I thought the incentive would be a RWC spot, he ain't signed and isn't playing Super Rugby - so how would he get selected?

    Wallabies 2023

Jones is a great coach, but like Cheika, their intensity/approach seems to diminish in effectiveness over time For the RWC? It could work, we may make the semis How the following four years go, dunno

I don't think this was an Koro or V choice, but I agree the money could have been better spent

    Waratahs 2023

I agree it would be make for a great combination, but the 6 & 8 would be required to do 80 minutes each, that isn't optimal, either Gamble & Hooper are units to budget 80 on - not both the balance of the backrow. I want to see angry cruncher, replaced by angry cruncher

    Waratahs 2023

It is interesting to see how quickly Hooper went from being the most reliable, uninjured unit who played full minutes week in, week out every year to now needing his minutes managed Having the Hooper/Gamble bench swap means the 6 & 8 need to be budgeted for near 80 minutes each, I don't think...
