    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Someone needs to tell rugby.com.au about the long weekend bye in QPR. https://www.rugby.com.au/news/club-corner-premier-rugby-continues-across-the-easter-weekend-202346

But great to have some focus on the Reds who need support so hopefully they get a decent crowd.

How lovely. Couldn’t think of a worse time with crowds and traffic compounded by school holiday prices. Obviously they don’t rate long weekends in Sydney rugby.

    Why?

    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Shute Shield is on this weekend. Why not QPR?

This conversation is turning into a rolling maul. Would’ve could’ve should’ve.

    One word. Randwick.

Fair point SX - I agree it’s part of rugby but is now an opaque tactic that the average fan has no clue what is legal and what is not. A bit like scrums I suppose.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Wests scored 6 tries - 4 by the forwards and 2 from their captain (centre). I am over rolling maul tries. They’ve taken over the game and the referees go into a mode where they only referee the defensive side looking for fault. How many finish in penalties, yellow cards or pushover tries? I...

Vunivalu should go to another club with decent centres who get the ball to their wingers. Maybe Brothers. Didn’t their wingers score 6 tries on the weekend?

    Wallabies 2023

Quade is 35 on Wednesday. Happy birthday

    Wallabies 2023

That is funny. But wouldn’t he go well at 15?

    Wallabies 2023

Never have been a fan of Ned Hanigan or Reece Walsh but they are better players in 2023. So hats off to them both. But don’t think they go to France.

    Wallabies 2023

Vunivalu - Eddie will assess at camp. Tate - not sure if it’s a gee up. Friday? Wilson - needs to show the Brumbies too Donaldson - EJ (Eddie Jones) and his father go way back JOC (James O'Connor) - hasn’t been playing well Flook - best 13 behind Ikitau Carter Gordon - deservedly in on form Jorgensen - 2027 World Cup

    Reds 2023

Only 4 Reds in the first Wallabies squad. And one is an import. With all the talent of this leading state nursery, what has gone wrong? There are more QLD juniors from other teams that have made the squad than the Reds!

    Wallabies 2023

13 Brumbies 9 Waratahs 6 Rebels 4 Reds 1 Force 2 x political. Vunivalu = RA wildcard and Ben Donaldson - no way is better than O’Connor but I thought Lolesio deserved it. Noah a victim of too many Brumbies and Donaldson lucky that he’s connected to the Randwick clique. Other than those 2, very...

    Wallabies 2023

I can’t see many Reds getting picked so 6 is ambitious. Talent there but not Eddie type players - he wants sound decision makers and hard workers off the ball. None of them are the best in their position in an Australian XV.

    Wallabies 2023

Yeah maybe. I rate him but not sure if Eddie does.
  19. Confucius Say

    Wallabies 2023

    I’m guessing 12 Brumbies, 9 Waratahs, 7 Rebels, 6 Reds.

    Wallabies 2023

Most anticipated Wallaby squad in a while. 33 players about to be dissected like biology class frogs by the GAGR community.
