No credit given to the Sunwolves here, they played a good game, uptempo with good support & lines. They've got bloody good roster,some accomplished names amongst some that have been overlooked elsewhere. They'll spring a few more wins together this season.

I recall a game went to Townsville in 2006 or 07? It didn't get much of a crowd from memory. Was slated to be a yearly occurrence but the support just wasn't there to be viable. Why would it be any different now?

It's definitely the time to be trialling fringe players & those that put their hands up during the pre season. But I don't believe it's worth it for anyone involved if that isn't tempered by at least some of the main players. Not to mention it's the time to work on combinations for the looming...
