    Shute Shield 2014

Problem right there!!!! Surely the Corporation were aware of the Water Polo shindig when they applied to host the matches on that weekend. That's right, they APPLIED to host.

    Shute Shield 2014

I'm hearing Manly won't be the only club North of the bridge to have a head coach change next year. Also good mail that Joe Barakat is returning to Sydney at the completion of the next Japanese season in February. Souths and Wests favourites to nab him.

Lots of rumours from the snouts about the coaching merry-go-round for 2015.

    Shute Shield 2014

He won't be in Australia next year................well not until at-least June anyway. My mail is he wasn't happy at Randwick with all the traveling and not getting paid and has signed a deal to go to one of the bigger clubs in Spain (I believe same club as Vaughan Lomax) end of July so he...

    Shute Shield 2014

The snouts tell me that the Tahs released the big fella for the mid week Barbarians game but not the Shute Shield on Saturday. Apparently Parra weren't told about it until an hour before training on Thursday. Shows you what the Tahs think of Shute Shield and western Sydney doesn't it.

    Shute Shield 2014

Well, well well. I was taking the dogs for a stroll along the beach at Queenscliff this morning and low and behold, I spotted a group of close to 100 players being put through their paces on the Queensie stairs. I thought to myself, what a great turn up for a tough session (it was 8am) in a...

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Uh oh, some very strong rumours coming from usually reliable snouts that ARU have told Sydney Uni they want them playing in Western Sydney. Either as stand alone or as part of a Western Sydney JV.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

What concerns me is that the NRC is scheduled to start a week after the Club Season Grand Finals. Will we find players selected for the NRC foxing a hammy twinge to make themselves available for the higher level (and assume higher paying) team?

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

It's my understanding that Fox Sports will be determining what grounds are used. They need to be broadcast friendly to their standards, not rugby's. So be prepared that Brookvale Oval will be the suggestion for the Northern Team. And no, it's not Pat Wilson.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

The tongues are really wagging about the NRC. The snouts have told me that there will be a well known former ARU employee heading up the North Shore bid. It will really put the cat amongst the pigeons. Snouts also say that the Western Sydney team will be a definite goer, with some serious...

strong mail friday that Balmain money and Sydney Uni expertise will form an Inner West team.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Can someone please tell me why the CEO needs to be in Edinburgh travelling with the team? If it's such a serious matter that the 3rd tier needs to be up and running by August, with EVERYTHING in place, then why is wasting time away sipping shandy's overseas?

That's a surprise. Particularly seeing as though his Dad Tevita is a Norths man to the core

Rumours circulating over here in the UK that Steve Mafi will be returning to the Two Blues from April. Any mail there @BellyTwoBlues?
