  1. Bairdy

    Western Force 2017

If so, that is a decent signing. I haven't been overly impressed by van Wyk and Heiberg, and Pek could do with some competition. Daley is coming into his prime. Hopefully he can make a meaningful contribution to the Force. He just needs to keep himself on the park.
  2. Bairdy

    Western Force 2017

Hopefully it is 12. Meakes, 13. Tapuai. Force been lacking physicality in the backline. He looks fairly decent in glimpses if the videos are any indication.
  3. Bairdy

    Rebels 2017

Bill Meakes to the Rebels? Big unit, and would help fill the void left by Ellison, Harris.
  4. Bairdy

    Western Force 2017

In an article related to Curtis Rona, I found this particularly interesting tidbit: If Meyer is a realistic chance at the post, I hope he surrounds himself with quality assistant coaches, like a Todd Louden/Jim Mckay for attack, someone for the forwards, for the defence (maybe Wessels?) etc...
  5. Bairdy

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Time to unleash the Skelton, even if it is to the lineout's detriment.

    Springbokke vs Ierland Series

    Altitude kicking in
  7. Bairdy

    Springbokke vs Ierland Series

Boks look absolutely shell-shocked - dicked in the setpiece, kicking, general play and discipline. 19-3 with 34 minutes gone
  8. Bairdy

    Springbokke vs Ierland Series

This game is practically identical to the earlier Australia-England test thus far
  9. Bairdy

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Really? I can see the offence getting penalised in game if picked up, nothing more.

GAGR MOTM Wallabies v England @ Melbourne 18 June 2016

    3. Hooper 2. Kerevi 1. Carter
  11. Bairdy

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Immense defensive effort and astute kicking for territory from England (as much as it begrudges me to acknowledge). Struggling to find positives from that game for the Wallabies. Hooper the pick of the forwards. I've never been high on Carter but he proved me wrong; he cleaned out...
  12. Bairdy

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Our kicking deficiencies are well documented, you'd think employing someone of more repute than Chris Malone to oversee all the Super Rugby franchises was a neccessity.
  13. Bairdy

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Hilarious. None of those aforementioned are ready or even good enough for test rugby. How about they earn the chance to get capped rather than being given a run because they show some promise.
  14. Bairdy

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Based off that purported lineup, I am apprehensive about the selection of Carter, and McMahon's inclusion alongside Hooper. I agree that we need to go with our point of difference - that being speeding up the game - rather than play a heavy backrow/pack, but I'm not confident that this...

  16. Bairdy

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

So much for a playmaking inside centre. We have Arnold, Holmes et al. playing first receiver adequately!
  17. Bairdy

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Loving Moore hurting blokes with his cleanouts
  18. Bairdy

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

    Beautiful hands Kerevi
  19. Bairdy

    New Zealand v Wales, Test 1, 2016
