The ARU actually run the membership program for the Rebels, Waratahs and Reds and only disbursed the payment for membership proceeds after taking out the Lions match component.

The teams agreed on a flat figure depite the fact that clearly some matches drew better gates. The big winner out of this was the Brumbies. The big loser the Reds.

Culture is a much over used and misunderstood term in sport in my opinion. However there has clearly been a culture change at the Rebels since the SA debacle . Well done to all involved for a fantastic second half of the year. Rebel for life !
