Lions vs Reds Rd 6 2014

Time to reverse the trend...go the Reds!

    Tahs v Rebels Rnd 6 2014

Regarding speed and Mogg (not really on topic) that stat above is impressive. Like to know top speed for Rod Davies, he was a schoolboy sprint star, and also sub 11.00 I think.

    Tahs v Rebels Rnd 6 2014

On one viewing of that game my conclusion is that the result was a fair indication of the gap between the two teams. Rebels intensity in the first half was good, and they hung in admirably (certainly a better job than the Reds a few weeks back), but in the end, they got worn down and the class...

    Reds 2014

It has been a tough early draw, so a win tonight has real significance, as it keeps the Reds in touch with the leaders, who arguably have most of their tougher games to come.

    Force v Chiefs Rnd 6 2014

On second thoughts...bloody good forward pack the Chiefs have there, have to agree BR. Just can't see the Force getting close, as much as I'd like to see them take it out.

There you go. How long ago, and how did he go?

    Brumbies vs Stormers S15 Round 6 2014

Like your optimism Ruggo:) Be tough to back up after that epic win against the Tah's and so many key guys out. Stormers will also be very, very desperate.

    Force v Chiefs Rnd 6 2014

Can the Force hat trick? Massive ask I know. Looks like an honest forward pack who should hold their own. The challenge will be the backs being able to contain the talented Chiefs backs and getting the ball out wide to Morahan and Cummins IMO.

    Reds 2014

Even though his form hasn't been as good as it can be, under the circumstances Taps is the logical choice at outside centre. Finger is bracketed because of illness and is not quite match fit, and no one else over there, apart from Toua, has even played at 13 (Has Harris had a go?). No time to be...

Rebels vs Crusaders, Rnd 4, 14 March 2014 @ AAMI

Need a solid performance against the Tah's. Can't see a win but a thrashing could be morale sapping.

Well, well, well. Aussie conference not as one sided as many thought, me included. Nice work Brumbies.

Highlanders Vs Western Force - Rnd 5 2014

Well done Force! Early season egg on a lot of faces. Didn't watch the game but surprised that the Highlanders didn't take this.

    Sharks v Reds Rnd 5 2014

Disappointing result but the negativity of some observers (can't bring myself to call you supporters) is wearisome. The Sharks are, in a lot of peoples opinion, favoured to challenge the Chiefs for the title. They had home ground advantage yet it was two tries all. I thought the Reds dominated...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

it's going to be an interesting year for Easts with so many of their players in one rep side or another. Great reflection on the setup and coach Richards but Pat will almost have to pull another rabbit out of the hat like he did in 2008, if too many of his frontline players aren't available...

    Force Vs Rebels - Rd4 2014

Rebels will be on a high after their pre season and last week's great win. If the Force can apply early pressure it will be interesting to see how the Rebels handle things mentally. On form and on paper Rebs are clear favourites, but reckon the Force will be quite desperate.

    Reds vs Cheetahs, Rnd 4.

Well done to Rocket on his selection, hope he makes every post a winner. Shame for Lachie Turner, hope that knee doesn't continue to be troublesome. Hoping for a good attacking spectacle tomorrow night. I'm sure the team is fired up.

    Brumbies 2014

Terrible news for Pocock. Others have been through similar or worse and survived and thrived, Ben Mowen being the best example. If Pocock has the will he is bound to as well. Here's to a full and speedy recovery....

    Reds 2014

The Waratahs were simply too good across the park on Saturday night. They owned the breakdown, and owned the game. If some (stress some here) Tah's fans wish to gloat then that is their choice but in my experience that sort of attitude tends to bite you in the arse somewhere down the track...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Sounds like it was a tremendous game. Neither GPS nor Easts have an abundance of superstars, but obviously having a consistent roster all season worked for both. Plenty of good young guns in both teams so would expect them both to feature strongly again next year. Hearing plenty about this...
