yeah - I understand what you said. I think playing rugby matches is better for game sense. practice just does not do that in any way shape or form.

Thing I really like about Jock is he is clearly a fullback, knows how to fullback, plays like a full back and probably knows how to spell it. Wallaby selectors will probably see that as a really good option for one of the wing positions.
