How to respond to the haka

chucking out of the brown eye would no doubt be worse.

    Next Wallabies Coach.

fur sure. but arrogance enough to ban someone? I don't think so. who decides who is arrogant and who is not.

    Next Wallabies Coach.

surely the only reason someone can be banned is for breaking the forum rules. would be a bit sad if other factors (eg dislike for post content, or perceived arrogance) becomes a reason. would be open slather then for mods banning people on personal tastes.

    Ewen McKenzie Resignation

well, ok there is that :) (not that you were hoping he would not get the points as it still left us within range of a converted try) still the possibility of people reverting to type under pressure situations is always present. And sadly in aus rugby of recent years an inappropriate box kick...

    Ewen McKenzie Resignation

never seen genia do aimless, useless box kicks in his career.:D all this concentration on whites last kick. Nothing about his long range penalty to get us in with a shot. Do I like stupid box kicks? hate 'em. It just seems a bit harsh to slate the entire fault down to white in this case...

    Wallaby Captaincy

I get your point. I'd like to think I would be playing to my utmost, 'leader or no leader'. For sure, have a captain to decide whether to go for goal or touch, things like that. To me, that is really where a captains role finishes. Do the ABs need a 'leader'? One, without which, they could...

    Wallaby Captaincy

is this question being over analyzed? I mean, honestly, how important is a captain? Phrase that differently, pretty piss weak if your (as a team) on field performance is tied in with who the frickin captain happens to be, or even worse follows the daily fluctuations of whoever the captain is...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

the very same question occurred to me. (unless I am a complete idiot and watch the replay and find it was on the exact spot) How many times have we watched a quick tap pulled up because it was one metre away from the spot? Will not say more till I see the replay. If I am right I might make...

heck, you could be on a wicket then, we'd all chip in a few bucks to get you to every aus vs ab game for eternity!

An Open Letter to Fans and Critics of the National Rugby Championship

the biggest suggestion I want to make for next year (and I hope Fox reads forums like this) is get rid of maloney. For gods sake, can we have an adult commentating? When your role was a five minute gag segment at the end of a TV show, for sure, play the fool. No real harm done. Put up with...

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

(off topic perhaps) what struck me when bismark came on was that delightful friendly smile Strauss involuntarily gave when he turned around and saw what was his replacement heading onto the field. I mentally contrasted that reaction to the time (canna recall exactly what or where) when Bismark...

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

man, tough crowd! :D Gently cultivating a liking for rugby (albeit, for now, at international level with my eldest) within the family and I have to take a 'tough love' stance? The spare tyre, oops meant significant other, has gone from 'oh crap, rugby season on again is it, see you in six...

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

shit man, you've already saved my life once by getting me to jump from a burning building of a thread (tho you were sposed to catch me, just where in the hell were you?) and now this?? Tho gratified you have my back, I feel unworthy :D BIG night tonight, all family together and middle daughter...

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

Dunno, is OuBoet a good thing or a bad thing? Anyhows, missed the point methinks. Here we have the national rugby team playing an international game, and the very first replay is cut down to an hour (with, one presumes, ad breaks) to make way for a replay of the league semi. Is that replay a...

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

FFS. Bloody foxtel. I ONLY have bloody foxtel for one.fucking.reason. To watch the frickin rugby. Ok, all daughters at home for the first time in yonks, (one) of them, I think due to a new boyfriend, has been (suddenly) watching the wobs. But fair enough I guess, 1 am is a tad too much to...

NSW Country Eagles v Melbourne Rising, NRC round 5, Orange Saturday 20 September

according to the roar the crowd was 2000. Re the above, I, for example, had no idea this 'event' was on. Next year/time I now know I can grab a bite to eat before the game, ie worth turning up half an hour earlier or something like that. Nice initiative.
