    Wallabies 2023

Sentence 1 - I'd bet good money that is factually wrong Sentence 2 - Conceptually that's bullshit. His only mandate would have been to improve the wallabies results. He's taken the route of going way early with the younger generation which is his prerogative as the man in the chair, but he has...

    Wallabies 2023

I wouldn't have booted Rennie a year early, but it's fucking tough because his record was poor despite my general impression that Wallabies played some better rugby under him (though were still murdered by a combination of injuries, ill discipline and stupidity at times) and an experienced...

Having no NRC is better how?

There has to be something. Aus A tours and international development tours/things like the QPR challenger series are an ok solution in the interim. But longer term it's not enough quality games for the players for the players on the Super Rugby fringe.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Our scrum without Tupou will be less of a weapon for us, but with Arnold, Frost, Hooper, Valetini and Phillip on the bench we fucking better have a massive go at disrupting their lineout. Stop their favourite attacking platform at the source. I have many horrible memories of England, NZ and SA...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

The Wallabies for the last 3-4 years have an absolutely dreadful record with soft tissue injuries

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Pocock wore a waterpolo headguard for an ear wound on a spring tour a few years ago I think. Might help Also staples won't help

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

If we went down a scrum half and an outside back, I’d back Gleeson’s speed and power to make more of an impact as a makeshift winger than Kemeny’s…whatever he’s been selected for.

    Queensland Reds 2024

We need genuine 2nd rowers, ideally Aussie qualified

    Wallabies 2023

You'd keep QC (Quade Cooper) there for now, but from next year move on. The flyhalves running around in Asutralian Super Rugby teams will be Gordon (who will be the man in possession of the gold 10 jersey), Lolesio, Edmed, Lynagh, Donaldson, Burey and Pasitoa which is an acceptable position to be in a post RWC...

    Wallabies 2023

I'd be keen to see LHP (3); Bell, Slipper, Gibbon (Schoupp on standby) Hooker (3); Porecki, Faessler, Uelese (should be Mafi who will be on standby) THP (3); Tupou, Pone, Nongorr (Talakai on standby) Locks (4); Frost, Skelton, Arnold, Neville (Phillip on...

    Wallabies 2023

Is it crazy to consider JOC (James O'Connor) as a utility back that kicks goals, over Hodge? i.e comes off the bench in the easier pool games? I remember him playing some absolutely cracking games for the Wallabies at 13 outside Samu. He's not a 10 anymore, but I don't hate the idea of him providing back up for...

    Queensland Reds 2024

The ankle injury that Josh had was a significant one. Not dissimilar to the one that nearly ended Drew Mitchell's career (who remarkably got back to form over in Europe after nearly 2 years of struggling at the tahs post injury so there is hope).

    Queensland Reds 2024

For the reds it's all about the front 5 and sharpening up the strike out wide. The back row is solid (Wright, McReight, Wilson, Uru, Anderson) and the midfield is ok (JOC (James O'Connor), Paisami, Flook) but at the back if Petaia or vunivalu spend time injured or out of form it starts to look thin.

    Wallabies 2023

They'll keep Slipper, but AAAA struggled greatly. Uelese proved again that he should be unselectable until his set piece proficiency becomes satisfactory. The locks will be kept together as a group, but Arnold needs minutes. Tom Hooper is one for the future but it's too early for him for the...

    Wallabies 2023

Is it a bit stiff for Neville? Hasn’t played a bad game for the Brumbies in years, and are we expecting one of Holloway, Leota, Tom Hooper to be a 4th lock?
