    Wallabies 2020

At home. They both got toweled up a few weeks later in New Zealand (Deans 39-10, Cheika 41-13). If you compare Rennie to that, a draw looks much more favourable.

I'm glad Ready has re-signed. I really like how he finished the season. While it would be great for him to fight with Montoya for a starting gig, I feel his best shot at playing for the Wallabies would be as a 20-30 minute explosive bench hooker. He's a good thrower, reasonable runner, strong...

Home is where you are born. So yes he'll come home.

I like Lance. I know he isn't a popular choice, but he's experienced and will play better with a full pre-season with the squad. Reckon the Force should push hard for Pasitoa for 2022 though.

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

I disagree. Super Ao has been reffed under strict expectations at the breakdown. We have an NZ ref used to applying those expectations. I don't see him completely changing. Reckon we'll either get whistled off the park or adapt and he blown away by the pace of the game.

My money on Harry Wilson first try-scorer.

Victor Harris could develop into a great LHP.

Would love to have the Ginger Nut back. Can never have enough rangas in your squad. I feel like I heard Scoble gave up rugby to focus on studies, so I don't see that happening. Who knows where he'd be if he hung around.

Mostly agreed. I love Tessman, but I also think he's past it. I thought Ready was in great form in the final rounds. He and Feleti and a development option would be the way to go. We need to be signing some big backrowers and locks.

No one has committed to anything. The Force would be crazy not to keep all options available. We cannot count on RA either due to past behaviour or due to no broadcast deal, no fixed competition structure for 2021. I could very easily see a situation arising where RA cave to NZRU and select...

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

And here was me thinking it was an artists rendition of that moment at the end of the game in Wellington when the crowd announcer reports that a really sexy sheep has been spotted in the car park.

See I reckon if you play him, you start him. Either with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) at 6 (along with Samu and Hooper) or LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) on bench.

    Wallabies 2020

I say this as a non-Simmons fan: If David Pocock won 3 turnovers in a game we'd say he played well. Not to mention breakdown pressure, clean-outs, tackling and the occasional ball run. What is Rob Simmons worth to the team? Does the value he add to scrums increase the chances of a penalty? Or...

Chris Latham was 32 when he last played for Australia. I'd have played him every day of the week. Reckon he could have cracked on for a few years too. At super level at the very least.

TK had a good game yesterday. Would love it if he played like that next year.

I'm not a McIntyre fan, but happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. K-Train is a fantastic signing. He clearly isn't at his best and a change of scenery while staying in Australia may be the answer. There was a time he was one of our best, most reliable backs.

Super Rugby Au Final - Brumbies v Reds

If someone had said 10 years ago we'd have two of the best.... Two cracking teams. I can't separate them. So many playing to nail down a start for the Wallabies.

    Western Force 2021

Agreed. Got to have a balance of both. Uyen would be great. Brache is a good team man, but he is no winger.

    Western Force 2021

And which of those WA locals is off contract? Only Pasitoa. I know Pasitoa was born over here but did we actually develop him or did he do most of his schooling in Queensland. I'd take every one of those guys before some marquee signing or returning Wallaby, but I don't fancy our chances. I...

    Western Force 2021

Chip on your shoulder much? You can't be local only and competitive. Not at this stage. I'd be surprised if they aren't trying to get the numerous WA developed players home. They also have a responsibility to the competition to put together a squad that can win. That means Rodda et al. How would...
