Super AU trial Qld v NSW 5 Feb Narrabri

Any word on if this is streamed, live updates or radio coverage? Kick off time?

    Reds 2021

I am guessing that is Jordan Luke who was recently with the Force. From what I remember of a few years back, big bulldozing centre with few frills.

    Western Force 2021

I suspect this is more of a club captain than necessarily a match day captain. I'd be surprised if Cubelli wasn't starting half the time.

Pre-season trial : Brumbies v Force, Canberra 9 Feb (Updated)

Better safe than sorry. Do a half arsed job of transmission management and it takes a lot longer to get out of control. Outsiders can say what they like: McGowan is very popular in WA for generally making the right choices (CMO advice).

Pre-season trial : Brumbies v Force, Canberra 9 Feb (Updated)

I think we'll know more on Friday. Wk2 is a bye and Wk3 is an away game, so I wouldn't rule it out.

Pre-season trial : Brumbies v Force, Canberra 9 Feb (Updated)

Things looking promising here. No new cases in the last two days. Fingers crossed.

    Western Force 2021

Was thinking about some players the other day. There were a couple of really promising juniors that fell off the radar a bit after 2017. I was mostly thinking of Brody Macaskill. If memory serves, he was POTT in the Schools comp back in 20117, which I am guessing was Frasier McReight's year...

Pre-season trial : Brumbies v Force, Canberra 9 Feb (Updated)

I haven't always been a White fan, but I think he is a great 9. I think it is hard to judge him on the handful of games of the Super Rugby Au season. It is a lot to come in and get up to speed with such a short turn around. I thought he was fine for the Wallabies. That said, Fines and Lonergan are two...

    Rebels 2021

I think the Force rely on QLD most. As far as I can count, we only have 5 NSW developed players. I think getting the boot set us back a bit, but the Force should be aiming for 50% locally developed within 3 years.

Pre-season trial : Brumbies v Force, Canberra 9 Feb (Updated)

Here is my tip: Whoever wins the trial will lose the opening round. Keen to see what John McKee will value add to the Force. I thought he did a good job with EDIT: Fiji. Don't know why I wrote Scotland....

Auckland Blues To Infinity and Beyond

K Road! Only time I have ever seen a lady of the night (no, not actually *seen*) walking about was on K Road 15 years back. It was over near the Joy Bong. Cracking restaurant. Cracking name.

Great! Was worried we'd have to wait another 3 weeks to get a taste of things.

    Wallabies 2021

I suspect that one or both of them will be worth too much in France for Australia to keep post 2023 RWC. I have the feeling Wilson will be hanging around for a long while.

    Wallabies 2021

Besides which, Harry Wilson will have a mortgage on Wallabies Number 8 for the next decade. At least with THPs there is more room on the bench.

    Wallabies 2021

I feel like someone mentioned James Slipper was a junior fly-half.

    Wallabies 2021

Radike Samo on the wing at the 2011 RWC?

    Wallabies 2021

Of couse Tizzano was a step down, McReight is freakishly good and was a year older. But if you thought the step down was large, I'd suggest you rewatch those 2019 U20 games. Tizzano was far from terrible. And he can hardly be judged for not getting much game time behind Michael Hooper.

    Western Force 2021

Holmes and Longbottom are still great scrummagers. I reckon one or both will spend some time in the injury ward. With retirements, we might have no experienced 3s in 2022.

    Western Force 2021

If it wasn't the first game of the season, I'd definitely start the Argie halves. As it stands, I think they have a better running game than Prior/McIntyre, and I'd like to see that go up against a tiring team at the 50-60 minute mark. Prior and McIntyre are not impact players and the 1st round...
