Good point. I think Kellaway will be the fullback or bench option. I hope he plays a full season at fullback for the Rebs.

Haha fair call. Although I thought McReight was fairly average last night and was poor against Italy.

That's like saying the missed line out throw in the first half worked because we won the game. Gordon's yellow worked, because we won the game.

Good point. I like a fit and firing Tupou starting for this reason. Although AAA can be pretty good too.

Except in his start against NZ where he was just about Man of the Match.

SA did with the Marx I think. You risk using up your bench if there actually is an injury.

I prefer Bell over Slipper. I think Skelton confirmed he's in the 23. Probably on the bench.

    Wallabies 2023

Nah he was never elusive enough to be a great winger.

Our inability to play down the clock is an issue we have never been able to address. We always seems to give away a penalty.

Yeh I can accept that. Wasn't nearly as bad as some previous moments we have kicked the ball away with 2minutues to go (Nic White).

Only because Wales also decided it was a good idea to kick it back.

Gleeson did some good things too though. That tackle on the kick chase was a beauty. He nearly got a pilfer at one stage. He was physical in contact. I think the worst thing was he seems to get caught out on defense. But not bad for a player who barely has a super rugby season under his belt...

Why on earth were we kicking the ball away with 7 minutes to go and down 3 or 9 points?

There goes your bias radar set on extreme again.

We win! Finally. The bench was immense. Samu, Lonergan, Tate all changed the game. Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) easily man of the match. A future superstar. Gordon can get lost. I was hoping to see more from McReight and we are still searching for another 10.

Agreed. Ironically, Wright was praised for his cool, calm, and collected approach. How quickly things can change.

Ridiculous is a bit far. Both are better ball players, better under the high ball, better kickers? Can you really disagree with any of these statements? I never said they were better. Just very different players. Obviously Koro is first picked in the team. But refer to my Jonah Lomu V Ben...

My take on fullback is the same. I think experience in the position trumps a few test matches there. I don't like the idea of starting both Wright and Campbell in the back-three. It just seems small and a defensive weakness, I think Italy proved that. I would have started Campbell with Wright...

Not saying he is better, just saying they are more balanced wingers. It's like comparing Jonah Lomu to Ben Smith. Smith obviously much more well-rounded, offers more around the park, but we would all still take Lomu as what he does well is just too good not to pick.
