    Qld GPS Rugby 2022

To my knowledge IGS has a huge number of kids on scholarship. (Not just in rugby) The current UI6 team was predominantly scholarships...granted many of them starting in year 7 and 8... They were a very hard tough team. But as years go by some of them leave and some don't work out. They are...

And a school's team can change dramatically from year to year in the 1sts. A school could be relegated one year but have a very different team the next

Noise from the crowd during a kick or lineout throw depends on the school. The Churchie boys are ripped a new one by their head if they even so much as cough at the wrong time. So much so that there was confusion the other day if they were allowed to cheer during a scrum feed. Yet last weekend...

NC will be able to take some solace from.the fact that I think they won every other game out there today... Anyone know if Churchie won any other game other than the big one (the one that counts!)

Cracker of a game on Main today. NC certainly missed Toia and Churchie just kept hanging on and refused to go away. Great try from the U16 Jo Stoddart to seal the deal. So great to see the comp wide open!!!!

Think a similar trend is apparent in quite a few teams this year. There are at least 3 U16s in the State High, Churchie, IGS and TGS teams and possibly also TerrCe. I think Nudgee is the only team with no U16s. Add to that the large number of year 11s in those same teams who will be there again...

Not sure about the field goals but Churchie haven't done a printed program for some time now

Churchie were convincing against IGS.31 - 19. ACGS managed to not leak any points when they had two yellow cards in quick succession and had to play almost 10 minutes with only 13. Whilst Nudgee would have to the favourite for next week's clash I am hoping the Church can bring an extra...

Churchie v BBC. Churchie won 4 tries to 2. Lots of rotations. Churchie much stronger in the 1st half. 12 in particular was dominant but only played a half Too many errors in the 2nd let BBC back into the contest.

Why is it that Churchie get so many yellow cards???? They don't seem to be any worse than any other team... But the cards would seem to say otherwise....

Though on the upside two of those losses were against the 14As and 15As for Churchie. From what I can gather NC were far more 'match ready' than Churchie post the covid break. Am not sure the results would have been so strong in a 'normal' year
