Oh I can’t wait for the next few years This will be the most entertaining campaign since Trump v Clinton. (regardless of which side you preferred, you have to admit it was utterly hilarious to watch)

EJ (Eddie Jones) laying into ‘what’s his name, the horse guy’ is magnificent shithousery already Has he even boarded the flight yet?

    Wallabies 2023

I vote we spend the money he’d ( Su’i’a’’ll’i’’) demand on developing our junior level coaches, then we’d have 10 of him each season to cherry pick.

We only need Cooper and Kerevi. Ample depth in every other position, injuries aside. There may be other options overseas in other positions but none are so clearly ahead of the Aus based options as those two.

    Wallabies 2023

I was obviously being a little hyperbolic, but a couple of good right crosses and staring up from the grass on Coogee oval at an ice cold Phil Waugh asking ‘who’s the slow old dog now?’, followed by an immediate ‘pack your bags, go back to your club and check your ego’ from the coaching staff...

    Wallabies 2023

Oh I dunno, he was as cunning as a shithouse rat and got away with being essentially a flanker for several years. if our current props were half as cunning, but with their size and strength we’d be beasting teams in the scrum. Besides, our front row/scrum was fine until our TH (can’t remember...

    Wallabies 2023

Agreed, and he certainly is, but not before he gets that ego in check. let’s not make the same mistake Dingo did with JOC (James O'Connor) when he called Phil Waugh a ‘slow old dog’. instead of Noriega stepping in and yelling ‘no punches’ at the time, he should have turned a blind eye and become an impromptu...

    Wallabies 2023

Put the lube away - he’s a kid in a tighthead’s incredibly physically gifted body, no more. Anyone who says publicly ‘show me the money’ should be slapped around the change room by John Eales until they publicly beg to be allowed to turn up to training again. I’m well aware rugby is pro now...

Tupou, Lolesio and Swain are the three in that ‘make or break’ category for me. They all seem on the cusp of either having their ego beaten out of them/find a real mentor Who turns them into All-Time greats, /turning mercenary because they can’t deal with the cauldron. I really hope all three...

    Wallabies 2023

I clearly love our wild horses but beating up the short bus doesn’t really count IMO. the coach who should be getting a lot more hype is Peter Hewitt (spelling?) 2019/2020 he had the Brumbies attack firing on all cylinders- that away game against the Chiefs when we treated them like newborn...

    Wallabies 2023

RE McKellar - everything I’ve ever heard from him on the grapevine/his own public statements suggests to me that he would be dancing around his living room right now. He’s had success at the Brumbies, but not yet actually won anything, so the opportunity to work with Eddie over the next few...

    Wallabies 2023

I reckon I’d have a stroke from laughing too hard.
  13. Brumbieman

    Wallabies 2023

Did he run over your cat or something? A RWC win with the Boks, coaching Japan to knock of the Boks at a RWC, 18 straight test wins right out of the gate with England a few months after they didn’t even make it out of their pool in a home RWC, two series wins away against the Wallabies, a RWC...

    Wallabies 2023

They were all Wallabies when they joined the Brumbies? Oh hang on, no, none of them were. That’s most likely why they left the Reds. Stop bitching about depth of quality produced by superior organisational systems and start sorting out your own backyard.
  15. Brumbieman

    Wallabies 2023

Maybe, but I’m calling him now as a boom rookie that will play in gold next year, who won’t be trying to return from a ruptured Achilles.
  16. Brumbieman

    Wallabies 2023

That might the smartest thing I’ve seen you post on this forum. Tom Hooper will be in the RWC squad.

    Australia v England Test 1 Sat. July 2 @1955

Oh ffs, I want Swain's babies after his last couple of years, my moniker is 'Brumbieman' and even i facepalmed the moment i saw the replay and threw what was left of my beer at the wall and went out for a joint (a ciggie wouldn't have been enough to calm me down). It was a clear headbutt, all...

TBF, not really a big loss, he's only played about 6 games or so in two seasons.

    Wallabies 2021

Napoleon wouldn't have been as good without the corp commanders under him understanding the playbook he was using. Quade's the same - get him involved in planning the gameplan, give him the appropriate tools/players who understand how he works, and let QC (Quade Cooper) run whatever happens after the forwards...
