RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

I think I can safely speak for the rest of the kiwi contingent on this site for this particular match.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

Ireland's record of unremarkability is something to behold. However, this team is much better than probably all of the above put together if perhaps a year past its best.

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

I have a friend in Japan on holiday at the moment. He reports that getting any merchandise for the Japanese team is virtually impossible unless you want to queue for multiples of hours and even then it's difficult to get anything. Apparently similar with NZ gear as well and lots of stock for...

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

*cough* I hear the 95' final was rather epic from the crowd noise perspective though I may have put all memories of that particular fixture out of my mind.

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

Just got to watch this. How effing fun was this game!!! Just when red cards look like they might ruin everything along comes a game like this to remind you just how good international rugby can be. Nothing like having 60k+ screaming fans behind you to fire a team up for the last 20 minutes...

    RWC 2019 England vs Argentina

The maddening thing is the inconsistency within the game. The rules say that's a red so off he goes at the time Nige said in real time that tackle is fine but his mate in the booth helps him out. The rules also say that taking a guy out in the air is at least a yellow but apparently there's...

RWC 2019 New Zealand vs Namibia

Good to see the fire up at the half time had the intended impact. Jordie went from disastrous to promising emergency backup in 40 minutes.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

That was quite some read. Up there with any Trump conspiracy anyone could care to name.

RWC 2019 New Zealand vs Canada

If ever the All Blacks were going to get tipped over by a minnow in pool games it would be with a team like this.

I was amused at just how rattled the Irish looked in the last 20 against Japan. Hardly a ringing endorsement for the theoretical #1 ranked side in the world. The surrender monkey decision to not even try to get the draw was remarkable, I thought that kiwi coaches would never do that.

This Scotland v Samoa game today is now quite important for Pool A given the events of the weekend.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

My feelings as well. I realise that experienced teams win world cups (apparently), but having not watched tests for a bit im kind of surprised just how 'experienced' that particular Aussie team was. Surely there must be someone that can be picked ahead of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) that was born in the 1990's at...
