Oh yeah...if only he could have 'rolled backwards' he would have been fine

I hope so. No more water breaks. A prop that goes down needs to be replaced if he's there for longer than a minute. If he goes down twice, he gets replaced. I liked how Raynal officiated the scrums too....no mucking around and just made calls pretty quickly and decisively. Once a maul stops for...

As opposed to missing it altogether? Nah...I'm OK with TMOs catching it on the spot....

This is Hodge's tackle on Yato? The shoulder to the head which left Yato concussed?

    Refereeing decisions

I remember the time before video refs and all the calls that people complained and moaned about that the ref missed on the day. "If only there was was some kind of referee who could check the video replay and make a call" used to be the cry of the rugby fan....

Nowhere near as hysterical as the moaning happening on this thread. Apparently it’s the death of rugby LOL

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

He never pretended to be tripped. He is reaching down to clear the ball and Wright - who is on the lying on the wrong side of the ruck seems to make some kind of grab at Smith. It's at around 1:41:53 on the Stan replay. No back flips and no trip. Just 2x clear card offences.... Not remotely...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

LOL The irony of calling it a ‘back flip’ while complaining that he’s over doing it. Did he stay down and call for medical treatment? If you go and watch the replay, there is a slow-mo when they are reviewing Swain’s grub act and you can see Smith does seem to get whacked in the head.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

He is LOUD…and high-pitched!! LOL What are the specific ‘theatrics’ that refs should crack down on?

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

From my reading of the laws, the issue is really about where the tackled player lands. The lifting past horizontal is probably worth the penalty but because he didn’t land on his head or neck area, it’s not card territory. I could be wrong about how it’s officiated but I wouldn’t like to see...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Fair enough. As I stated in my first post, I hope we see more of these time wasting calls. From an AB fan view, I am pissed off that Swain wasn’t shown a red for ending another player’s season with a grub act. I’m also hoping refs crack down on the acting we have seen the Wallabies recently...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

And when Foster joins the forum you can have a crack at him for it but for the most part, the AB fans here not blamed the refs for the AB woes of late. Unlike a number of Wallaby fans here. There are no mental gymnastics or logical contortions that need to be made to justify what happened on...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Yes - it will be. And when it happens, I’m sure most of the AB fans here will congratulate you, the Wallabies and their fans like we did for the Irish series. Holding the Bledisloe is a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it fkn awesome to have been so dominant for this long….on the other hand...
