    The Wallabies Thread

They're deciding the general movement they want to use but somebody still has to make the actual call based on where the opposition have lined up and their spacing. The only sides I'm aware of that pre-determine their lineout movement/throw are very, very amateur.

    Reds 2019

You need to give us a few months before we start sinking into the looming reality of next season, please. Think of the children.

If he’s improved under the ball, definitely

    Reds 2018

20 minutes of experience against the mighty Sunwolves pack versus not signaling to every free agent in World Rugby, again, that our player-coach culture is rotten to the core, hmm

    Reds 2018

Honestly I just made the post after seeing her Instagram post but these are all very valid examples as well, if not moreso.

    Reds 2018

That’s great, because between the way the players are treated and having an amateur head coach our side will look and play like a U-20’s team for the foreseeable future But hey, Thorn actually had success at that age group.. ;)

    Reds 2018

Her comments seemed to focus around the lack of communication from the organization regarding Kane’s non-selection for his last game at the Reds - they had family fly up from Sydney, etc. While no player has a mortgage on the jersey this seems to speak to the lack of organization/emotional...

Kane’s wife sounds less than thrilled about how his departure was handled by the Reds

QLD felt pretty alright to me  ..then again, I'm just a godless yank

For those of you with Instagram, T Thor has an Ask Me Anything going on his Story and it’s a good read - although his NSW vs QLD answer was disconcerting

Pretty sure it was Horan who recommended that QC (Quade Cooper) get rid of the rat-tail all those years ago

    Reds 2018

Yeah, I think it should happen via NRC into next year if at all. I just don’t see shoe-horning him into the last loss of the season after months exiled from the squad as a productive action - tons of potential downside with little upside. Even if Cooper lights up the Sunwolves it’ll be...

    Reds 2018

As much as I want to see Cooper playing for the Reds again, throwing a guy in who I'm assuming has had very minimal exposure to whatever structures Thorn has the team running - the same guy was was supposedly dumped for his lack of discipline on the field/propensity to deviate from the...

    Reds 2018

Don't think there's too much to lose this point giving Jordan a start and seeing what happens. Meakes/English or whoever the Sunwolves trot out at center should be a good marker for his progress as a player without entirely throwing him to the wolves, like say against a Laumape/Proctor pairing.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Timu's lack of ball running opportunity had a lot to do with often being one of the support runners in the pod and not the main carrying option most of the time. It was presupposed on here by some that this was done intentionally to allow him to ease into his first test, and I'd have to agree...

Wallabies vs Ireland - 3rd test - Saturday 23rd June 2018 - Sydney Football Stadium

I don’t think Nucifora would be able to replicate what he’s doing in Ireland because of how differently Aussie and Irish professional Rugby are structured. He wouldn’t have nearly the same level of control here as he has there where they can more or less tell the provinces how to manage the...

Wallabies vs Ireland - 3rd test - Saturday 23rd June 2018 - Sydney Football Stadium

My memory may be totally wrong but I don't remember any exit bomb attempts in the first test. To me the difference was that quality of kicking out of hand sucked in both games but what looked like our deliberate tactics sucked much more in the second test.
